There are Duralast sockets mixed in w/ the others...some of the engravings are deeper than others and difficult to see what size the socket is, and this is annoying.For example, if I leave one of my Blue Point 3/8 sockets lying around the shop and someone finds it, they know who has the BP...but if they find one of these theyll just think it's a junk socket that got abandoned by a tech who didnt care about his no-name crap socket. I've found sockets like these and thrown them in the trash before. But I needed 6pt metric deep/shallow in 1/4 drive,and needed a storage tray. It does achieve that goal...since its 1/4 and not a 12pt, I'm not as worried about stripping bolts with these...they're probably more likely to break before they have the chance to damage a bolt. I would NEVER get these in 3/8 or 1/2. I'm guessing most ppl who buy this set are not professionals and need a DIY kit...I'm having $ problems while trying to completely rebuild a tool set (I lost over $30k worth of stuff). These are cheap steel, but you already knew that probably.

Got these to go in a vehicle for convenience and low-grade emergency adjustments. They cover a majority of a vehicle's socket needs for doing trim, upper and inside engine work, various engine room adjustments and so on. Obviously they aren't going to cover every size you need for a vehicle, but you can do quite a lot with a set like this.Quality seems fine -- none misshapen or cracked. The "case" if you could call it that is extremely cheap, so as you're building your order, plan to transfer them into an existing metal case (which is what I did), or to put them on a spring clip socket organizer.Value for the price is high -- I got a a 13mm and 14mm short and long socket, which were the sizes I needed, for about the same price as buying them individually at a store, but in this set I got every other size too. Silly-cheap for good quality.

While the sockets appear to be of reasonable quality (given the price), the plastic case they come in is worthless/not-usable. So, be prepared to put the sockets in some kind of other container that will make finding the desired socket [size] a pain. The plastic cover over the case is even worse than the labeled base the sockets lie in (that has a piece of cardboard underneath that unsuccessfully tries to hold the form of the super-thin/cheap plastic). A mess/shame.

This is a great price for 1/4" 6 point Metric sockets that include 5 and 5.5 mm sockets whichcan be hard to find in a single set.The only draw back (reason for 4 stars) is the beyond cheap blow molded red and clear plastic sheath(not a box) that house the sockets. the set does come in an actual cardboard box that you will end up usingto hold everything together.

Nice set for the price. You will need to come up with a better way to store the sockets, the plastic case, is not much value, but you can pick up socket trays at Harbor Freight really cheap. I really bought this set because I needed a 5.5mm socket, and this whole set made more sense than buying an single socket (this set has two 5.5mm sockets, deep and shallow).

Sockets seem fine, but I agree with the other reviewers that the cheap case will not last. For those putting these on socket rails, it will be no problem. For those like me that wanted to keep this in a vehicle as an emergency socket set, it would be nice if the case were slightly less terrible. For now, I've added a couple thick rubber bands around the top to keep everything together, but may look for a soft case at some point to hold the sockets.

I got this to use on my 1/4 ratchet and 1/4 torque wrench on fasteners with in-lb torque values. It is a complete set without skips and with both shallow and deep sockets, I don't have to use my 3/8 sockets. I highly recommend.

I've never had a good, complete set of 1/4" sockets until I bought these, so these worked out perfectly. I rarely use 1/4" so the cost and quality are good enough for what I need. Bonus points for both standard and deep-well sockets in the same package.

Plastic tray is kinda flimsy but for the price it's unbeatable. Not really any other size 1/4 drive sockets you would need than what this comes with. Will update if any pieces break during use. Not gonna be using a breaker bar or power tools with these so I would imagine they will last they seem decent quality but stampings are kinda shallow but that's a minor trade off.

For such a low price product quality is excellent and could hold their own against other brands such as gear wrench and tekton. Could definitely see use as my main 1/4 set but for now will sit in the backup toolbox. It’s a perfect set for beginners and time will tell how well it hold up. So far I am happy with the product and quality

Set looks like many other more expensive tools I've used in past years. I haven't put enough use of it to make a definite judgment, but for the price - can't go wrong

I like the organizer box. Fits nicely into my drawer of my tool box. Easy to read. Use them all the time on machines from Europe.
