Women Maxi Dress

I am 5'2 and size 14/16 with 36DD top and rather sizable hips. I was looking for a summer dress that would be stylish, adaptable to ever changing british weather and suitable for my body shape and size. I ordered size L in Vintage Green 02. It looks exactly like on the picture. I like the colours and prints, which are funky and yet not overpowering. I went buzz cut this summer for comfort and am so happy with it. The dress suits my style and fits perfectly. The length falls just at my ankles and I could wear flip flops with it but I prefer higher heels for going out. Gives me a little more confidence and reassurance that the hem will not tangle under my feet, especially walking up the stairs or up the hill. I truly love the style of this dress! The tulip shape is very flattering and forgiving and the dress is nicely loose towards bottom, giving plenty of room for movement or keeping you cool in hot weather. Cotton fabric is absolutely wonderful for summer heat. Nice and soft, airy and flowing but not in any way clingy or see-through (probably due to the pattern and colours, which I like so much). It washes great and if tumble dried on its own it can be worn without ironing. Gives it more vintage and casual kinda fluffy/soft finish and also it is slightly shorter that way. I washed at 60 C with other coloured cottons and it came out perfect. After two washes the dress looks just as lovely. The fabric is definitely color fast. I have just ordered black with red large print on it. Have high hopes for that one too 😁🤞🤞🤞

So first off dimensions. I'm 5ft 10 and a UK 14. I read the reviews and ordered the large which fits well. Top half is snug, for those ladies above a 36c I'd size up or it be super snug. Let's get to the length. At 5ft 10 the bottom of this garment sits half way from my heel to.my knee so half way up calf, measures a foot/12" from floor to base. The picture showing a beautiful low ankle length....not happening at our height. It's mid length not maxi or even long. Overall it will be a nice midi coverup for the price, cool and flattering. But unlikely to buy anymore or recommend to anyone over 5ft 2 due to length

Absolutely love it. Gorgeous dress in a linen/cotton type fabric, colour was more orange red than bright red but that is fine. Length was good on me, I’m 5’ 11” and it is down to just above my ankles. Will be a fab summer dress, cool and comfortable. Think I may order the blue and black as well. I’m usually about a Size 20 and the XXL is plenty big enough as fits perfectly.

For the money you can't really complain but it is a very odd shape, the top is tight and the lower half enormous (normally I like baggy clothes) and it is not because of my shape! You can see through this colour but not the blue. I think it may be that it is the wrong fabric for this design - jersey would hang better. It will be fine around the house or garden or perhaps as a nightdress but I wouldn't wear it in public.

Is the second time I ordered this dress. Fist was in purple and material s to be thicker than the black one. You can see through. The sleeve wasn't appropriately made and ended with the massive hall after a delicate wash. Berybfit and comfortable but too expensive for that quality

I`m blown away by how much I love this dress! Gorgeous bottle green, made of high quality material and fits perfectly! I am 5ft 4 and a size 16-18, with lots of bumps and lumps and was looking for an elegant dress to suit my shape. So glad I came across this dress as its wonderful, well made and comes about 3 inches above my ankle, so a perfect length for me! I am a size 40D in a bra and the bust part is perfect for me, not too tight but not too roomy that its baggy, just enough room for movement without being restricting! The dress is well made which I am impressed with, and is a gorgeous flowing style, loved it so much I`ve just ordered another one in the orange colour! Some wooden beads and bracelets to compliment it and I`m one happy lady! The simple things in life huh!!!! Oh n fast postage too! So 10 out of 10 all round from me!

DELIGHTED is not enough a word to describe how much I LOVE this dress. It’s not only good quality cotton, but also comfortable, fits perfectly well, has LOVELY POCKETS (I do adore clothes that have pockets) and feels nice to the skin. The tone of green is slightly different from the one on the pictures (the one on the picture being a sort of darker, bottle green, and the one I got is shade or two lighter, but I don’t mind). It’s also fresh and ideal for the summer, but it’s also long (I’m 1,70mts tall and it covers my ankles), which I like a perk. All in all, I’m 100000% pleased with the purchase and will definitely be ordering more in other colours ❤️

It's great that this is cotton. But, the fabric is as harsh as sail cloth with no drape. And the colour leaks out when you wash it. Great in theory, but not so great in practice.
