chocolate appeared to be old when rec'd. Would not temper correctly most likely due to age of product and whatever happened to it prior to reaching me.

I bought two bags (a total of 11 pounds!) of this chocolate to make ganache for my daughter's wedding cake. The chocolate is so good that I couldn't stop munching it right out of the bag. It melts beautifully and has a deep, rich, and smooth chocolate flavor. Definitely recommend this and will order again.

These are a good deal. I use them in baking. Normally I love Lindt chocolate. But in this case, truthfully I prefer the bag amazon sells of Callebaut couverture. Seems like the Lindt have more sugar/ sweet taste and a little less chocolate flavor than the Callebaut. Also they are big disks so you can't use them in preparations like chocolate chip cookies without chopping, and they melt a little more slowly. Probably would love them if I had never used Callebaut before.

Made a nice gift

Perfect for tempering, it has never failed me. I've managed to easily make a wide range of Ganache densities, from thick fillings to thinner frostings. But it became my "go-to" for the shiny, near mirror glazes on Viennese desserts. A small fault? Perhaps that the vanilla hint is unconvincing and not necessary. But for the price it cannot be beat.

This chocolate melts so fast without requiring any sort of high heat, and is excellent for use with Mousses, baking, and other creative uses. The price is quite reasonable for the volume (over 5.5 lbs!) and the taste by itself is quite good too.

This stuff tastes pretty good. I leave the open bag on top of my fridge and walk by every now and again throughout the course of the day to snatch a few pieces. And there are a LOT of pieces in this bag :)

Tastes fantastic. Easy to use, just melt and pour into your fountain or use as a dip. No need to add oil which tends to thin the chocolate too much. I used this for a wedding and everyone raved about it.
