I had to avoid using this knife for cutting fruit for a while; this shedding has eventually stopped. Tweezers are fine. I haven't tried the tungsten-carbide point yet (I hope I won't need it). My scale weighs this at 88 grams, with the pocket clip mounted. The Case stainless sodbuster at 94. No clip on that one. The useable part of the blade is the same on the two knives, but the Case has an overall longer blade (which might go over your local legal regulation limit for daily carry). This one also has a polished blade, nicer than the machining on the Case.
