They are very small but they do cover the camera on laptops fine; however, they tend to slide to the open position very easily. While I haven't actually measured it, it seems when I open the laptop, the cover is in the open position more often than it is closed. This, in my opinion is a problem as I would prefer to explicitly open it when I want to use it. I got the black ones as my computer is black and they blend in very well which makes it harder to see that it's actually open so if I'm in a rush or my mind is on other things, I'm vulnerable. This is true of all 3 on 3 different laptops. I cannot recommend this product.Update: The company contacted me asking if I would like a replacement for this item and I indicated I would be happy to accept a replacement and if it worked I would update my review. A second contact came asking me first to either update or remove this negative review before they would send me a replacement for a defective product. I kindly asked them NOT to send me a replace and I would take my business elsewhere. I've lowered my rating from 2 stars to 1 for poor customer service..
