This thing is so cool
Was upgrading a guitar that I absolutely love and I came across a treble bleed on Reddit. Decided to look more into it and it was definitely something I wanted to do. It sounds pretty good but again Iโm not a tone snob so it appeases me! Will def buy more of these and put them on future projects. Itโs very easy to install but I actually installed it backwards, it helped me work on my soldering more. Overall solid for the price and a good upgrade!

Amazing for 65 Jazzmaster pickups with 1meg pots
Put this on my Mag7 Limited Jazzmaster with 65' pickups & 1meg pots. The immediate tone roll-off on the existing 1meg volume was unbearable. And the 1meg tone pot with an inline cap was so dull and immediate that neither were usable in any real sense. I removed the stock cap and put this Buhr Electronics Treb Bleed and I was utterly blown away. There is 'some' deviation in tone on the volume, but it's subtle, and almost low-passes very very slightly but then comes back in here and there. It's so subtle that you have to really want to hear it tbh. Some people change the 1meg pots on JM's, I didn't...and I'm really really glad. This cap/res bleed mod gives me full range on my volume and tone and provides really solid versatility that you'd hope for in a JM. Could not be happier or recommend more. I somewhat feel that I just lucked out on perfect tone here...given I could have spent years of my life mod'g this guitar to death to get the real versatility I was hoping for - consistent volume and tone with pristine clarity when needed. Great product.

Awesome little mod made clean and simple
This thing is fantastic. Totally cleaned up the "muddy tone" problem. I love that I can have my amp set on distortion and now pull the volume back and get a nice sparkly and balanced clean tone without any of the dark muffle. Such a simple yet awesome mod. I do think this circuit is a little pricey compared to others but it does the job well and I love that it's both the capacitor and resistor in one, preset for you. And the protective coating on sides keeps me from worrying about any issues with circuits touching the wrong thing. Have it installed on two guitars so far, I'm sure I'll add it to any new ones as well.

Great for Player 2 Jag
Worked awesome on my Fender Jag Player 2 with stock single coils and 1Meg stock volume pot. Fixed the abrupt volume drop off and dark tone when volume was rolled back.

Does the job... Mostly
Replaced the stock treble bleed in my PRS SE Custom 24, pretty easy to do, I suggest buying some helping hands to assist but beware the size of this thing. The small circle was the PRS stock next to this mammoth unit haha. It works fine and does the job as intended, rolling off is now more smooth and my tone doesn't turn to mud instantly like before. However going from 10 to 9 on volume there is a sharp dropoff in volume and then it equals out. Not sure if that's the mod or my pickups but for now I keep it at 9 and treat full volume as a treble booster. What this really means is an eventual pickup swap but for now I'm loving the tones this mod has helped me get.

It works great on my player tele.
I have a player tele and there was a slight bit of tone loss when rolling off of the volume knob so I got this treble bleed cap/resister fix. It works great. The tone is perfect, just the right amount of treble retention. I can always roll the tone knob off if necessary (but I haven't had to) I saw a person in the comments say that this doesn't work for single coils (that it would be too bright) but it's not. It's just fine with Tele single coils. 8 bucks is a lot but it was painless to use/install and it was of good quality.

Fixed my muddy PRS S2 Special Semi-hollow
I ordered this and had my luthier install this in my PRS S2 Special Semi-hollow that used to get really muddy below volume 10. It sounds great now! Same treble & clarity all the way from 10 to 3 on the volume knob!

My favorite mod by far
For years, I would buy separate caps and resistors to treble bleed my guitars. But this just simplifies the process. It has a nice taper and sounds like you're simply turning the gain down. Works well with hot humbuckers and low output single coil guitars. Excellent product. I highly recommend it. If you haven't tried treble bleed yet, this is the best place to start. I often find myself using as higher gain channel on my Boogie and then simply turning down the guitar's volume knob to obtain a lightly overdriven sound.
