Originally purchased this model and it certainly arrived on time and looks very good, highly detailed, however it’s really tiny and even though it is correctly described in dimensions once you see it it looks much smaller than you imagine. it’s not a good value for the money they’re charging.

I've recently become a fan of TNG after going through the series out of curiosity. This is one of the few sci-fi model ships that I now own, and it's quite a nice one for its small size. While I would have liked the warp engines to be also in metal, alas only the saucer itself seems to have gotten the diecast treatment.I get the feeling the ship is a bit yellower than it should really be, though the small booklet the model came with does explain a bit about how the ship models were used on the show, so the color might just be different in my mind due to the lighting that ended up getting used. The plastic peg that plugs into the stand also came loose on mine, so I had to use liquid superglue to tighten it for a more secure hold. It's a minor fix and It now fits perfectly with the added extra friction, but it's worth noting there are some tolerance issues.I would say this is more like a 4.5 review since there are some little things about the fit and feel of the overall piece that are a bit off but those are minor nitpicks. It does bring a smile to my face just looking at it, and that's the important part.

It's actually bigger than I thought it would be. *that's what she said* so that was nice. Highly detailed and we'll worth the $25 for it. Makes an Excellent desk toy. 10/10 would buy again.

Nice model, but some defects on the pain job where the saucer section meets the drive section. Also, the stand was VERY difficult to put on…i almost gave up

Looks so much better than i expected for the price or reviews. Couldnt figure out how the stand was supposed to hold the ship, until i looked at peoples photos here- didn’t realize it should hold the engineering hull AND the saucer. Its very secure this way but i had hoped the stand would be more hidden. Either way, the ship itself is great. Its a good size without being an overpowering size.
