The 3.3" vise has more features.
I purchased the 3.3" Black vise for my work table. The 3.3" vise comes with an additional set of jaws that are tapped for a set of pins that will hold irregular shaped work. Those jaws will attach to the vise jaws with magnets that are built in, or they can replace the original jaws, that are held on with screws. I opted to replace the original jaws, as that gave me an extra 1/2" of opening depth. There are a set of plastic covers that can cover the metal jaws to protect your work. The 3.3" vise only opens 2.375"....the 3.3", refers to the width of the jaws. This vise has a "quick release", button that makes adjusting the jaws very easy without a lot of handle spinning. This particular model comes with a plastic pad for the clamp on the bottom of the vise, but nothing for the table top side. I used some stick on felt pads to protect my table top. The vise also includes thru-bolts, if you want to drill into your bench and fasten it that way. It's a nice small vise, with useful features: It clamps to the table, It swivels, It has plastic jaw covers, It has jaw pins to hold irregular shaped pieces. I would say a good value for the cost.

It's functionality for a small well made tool.
Impressed 👍, very good tool, well made, awesome price, it's small but not little in functionality, really glad that I bought it, looking forward to buy more useful stuff from them. Even the box that came with it was good 👍Thank youE2

Nice for small work that you need a vise that does not take up a lot of space give this one a try.
Nice small vise. I was looking for a vise to attach to my small work bench and this one fit the bill. The “C” clamp is strong, I mounted the vice to my workbench so the 2 inch bolts that came with the vise were short (reason for the 4 stars) for 2 inch thick wood workbench top. For small work that you need a vise that does not take up a lot of space give this one a try.

Sturdy little bench vise
Got this for a "hobbyist table" in my basement and I love it. Very sturdy for light to moderate work. Not as beefy as my big vice, but that's a full on heavy duty garage vice. I didn't need or want anything that big for the hobby table, so I got this one. Very happy with it.

Great Vice dual mount capability is smart!
Good Solid vise, can use the portable mount or mount permanently. Maybe a little too large for my needs but handy to have an use as needed. I might have gotten away with smaller unit but I'll keep this one!

Strong sulfur smell. Doesn't come with rubber cover for table surface.
Let me start with a summary.Pros:- Quick release button allows you to slide the clamp to position. This was the main reason I picked this since not all vises in this class have this.- Can be clamped to a surface or bolted down.- Comes with added clamp accessories that other vises do not come with and at this pricepoint.Cons:- Missing upper surface rubber protector.- Brand new strong sulfur and oil smell due to manufacturing process.- Aesthetically ugly finish (my subjective opinion)- Bottom clamp rubber protector keeps coming off- Screws attaching clamp can easily be stripped due to weak alloy. So, assemble with care.Neutral:- Cartoon character white gloves. My wordy review:I don't understand why this vise clamp comes with a bottom rubber cover to protect the underside of the table but is missing a corresponding upper rubber cover to protect the top surface, which is the most visible part of a table. If you would actually use this vise for any work, there is a chance of scratching or markings or denting the top of whatever furniture is clamped on to unless you place a rag or mat between the part that contacts the vise. Again, I find this absurd that the bottom rubber is provided but nothing for the top. Also the rubber to protect the clamp is warped and keeps falling off. If I was to keep this thing then gluing it in place may be necessary. After opening the jaws, there was a very strong stench of sulfur and oil. I don't know whether this is due to the manufacturing process but it cannot be used indoors in a home setting right out of the box as it was originally intended. Airing out a bench vise was not in my to do list. The paint finish is not black as it appears on certain computer monitors. It's like a dark green speckly mud textured pattern which I find unappealing. This is going to be returned for the reasons stated above. I would rather get a mini vise that I am happy with rather that one to put up with.I may end up going with a different kind of vise altogether since all the table clamp-on ones on Amazon do not have 4 inch or wider jaw sizes for some reason. They only go up to 3.3" at most. I needed a 4 inch vise and wanted to clamp it onto a table for convenience.Drill press vises can be wider and just lay on top of a surface. Other non-clamping vises get even bigger. So, my original idea of having a mini vise for light work that can easily be connected to a furniture table is out the window. They don't seem to exist or have bad reviews or stuck to 3.3" width jaws (like this one) or smaller. Getting a traditional heavy duty one will have more value in that it can do a wider spectrum of tasks than a smaller one even though I don't be able to clamp it to an indoor kitchen table like I originally hoped.I give this three stars because it is functional and does what it is supposed to do. But due to the cons states of why I am returning it, I deducted two stars. I wasn't happy with its flaws.

Some may be freaking out, thinking they need to refund; Relax check this out first.
As to the 360 clamp not holding, I tried it, and yes it would loosen if I torqued it at all! BUT!!!I believe some read this so called problem, and return it when they see it is true, without reading instructions or playing around with it a bit. On the Box, it shows how to adjust the 360 clamp by using a wrench to tighten to proper strength. The armature actually rotates farther than just a few inches.I turned the 360 clamp so the it swivels 90 degrees off the edge of the workbench top. Works great! No slippage. The problem may be when rotating so that the table top prevents the clamp from rotating straight up and down. But, mine seems adjusted so even this works.Again, look at the super brief instructions on the box.And understand this is a small hobby size clamp designed for it's intended uses. It's not a full sized, hold an 8' 2x4 Grandad's shop vise.

Alright for the price but nothing special for sure!
Small, a little bit fidgety to use. When clamping it to a board it makes it hard to impossible to turn the tightening lever and the rotating lever cannot be moved at all due to its proximity to the board. I managed to make it work but had to remove it and readjust it a few times to get it where I needed it. I may try and add shims withing the clamping mechanism to create space. I mentioned at the start it is small, meaning the clamps are maybe 1/2" high by 3" long so getting a bite on something can be difficult. It was cheap and did what I needed it to do this time, I will fiddle with it to see if I can get it to serve my needs better. Overall ok.
