Awesome Xanathar mini!
If you have had any experience assembling the Games Workshop minis and such this is a breeze. A lot of reviews saying how hard it is to assemble and poor cast. I disagree. It was really not that hard to assemble and looks nice when all done. I DO agree that this mini isnt for beginners. But I wouldnt suggest a beginner to try to assemble a whole GW army either...

Well crafted model for intermediate painters
As far as resin models go, this guy had some mild clean up as far as mold lines/flashing, which was easy to clear up with needle files but due to the nature of the model, having a lot of eye stalks, it felt like a lot more work than it actually was. I really love this model though. It's the best representation of The Xanathar on the market despite the price tag.

A fun project
I just started painting and because I’m getting ready to start a Waterdeep campaign, thought getting a Xanathar mini would be perfect! This did not disappoint. It was a bit tricky to put together as I had no previous experience putting a mini together, but was definitely a rewarding and fun experience. The mouth was a little brittle and I had to cut it down a bit to make it fit, but I am happy with this! I am hoping this will bring a bit of a wow factor to my players!

Warning: the material feels cheap and easy to snap!
Though I didn't break the miniature the marerial it is made oht of is very cheap but this is still one of my most favorite miniatures Ive painted so farIt is small compared to other beholder miniatures its still in a great scale for other miniatures when playing dungeons and dragons

Avoid at all costs. Not a good sculpt or production run unless you need practice on gap filling
Literally the worst mold I’ve worked with in any miniature. The amount of work needed to do before priming is off the charts. Gaps and flash everywhere. I expected so much more after seeing the gf9 pieces that came with the Nolzur’s sets.

some parts not molded correctly.
The model itself (intended shape and concept) is amazing. The execution of the creation of that model is not worth the price charged.(little to no Quality Control?)On mine, some of the parts are missing plastic, others have too much, and the shapes don't properly fit where they are supposed to. (especially the mouth.. it's about a full 3 mm too wide, and there is about 2mm gap at the top.)I will be able to compensate using various modeling methods (filling in gaps and sanding), and then cover up remaining issues with paint, but for the price, I feel shouldn't have to.If you are an experienced model assembler, and you REALLY want this particular design, cross your fingers and order away.. otherwise, you might want to consider other reviews before purchase.Kudos to the designer... boos and hisses to the manufacturer.

Good for those who love to paint!
It's a pretty cool piece. It takes a little bit to put together but my pieces all fit together very well. Primed and painted it up like the picture. I would recommend.

Looks nice, will require work
This is the second of this series I’ve purchased…and I’m not impressed. The individual pieces look great, sadly very little care has been taken to assist in assembly. I’ve had some experience putting kits together…but to make this kit look as it does on the box I will need modelling clay to fill in large gaps in the mouth-piece. And most of the eyestalks look as though they will not fit flush to the model.Perhaps I just got an unlucky box with a poor casting. But this is the second in the series with similar issues. If you aren’t proficient in model assembly, this may not be to your liking. If your gasping for a xanathars miniature and your happy with some assembly issues. This’ll be great.
