Good high quality hat.
I received this as an anniversary present to replace one that I had lost years ago. It is well made, durable, and does a great job of keeping water off in the rain (I hate wearing coats with hoods). I normally wear 7 3/8". The extra large fits fine. I used one of the spacers that come with the hat. It isn't noticeable and is a comfortable fit. If you're between sizes I've found it's better to go too big than too small, much easier to add a spacer to a large hat than hope a tight one might stretch.

Best hat ever
Had mine for 20+ years. Fits tight, supposed to, may stretch, it’s leather. Waterproof, backpack proof, farm proof & just great. Well made. Love the style. Never, ever let anyone put it on or you’ll lose that perfect fit. Advise given at a sports show from their rep.
