Best speakers you'll ever own!
Firstly edifier is one amazing brand. The quality of their speakers is one class above! These speakers are no less. I had a edifier R1280Ts already connected to my laptop. Although that speaker was pretty good, I wanted more deep bass and I didn't want to buy a T5 subwoofer as the sub level bass would disturb the neighbors and my parents. I wanted a fairly powerful speaker which could produce good bass without sub woofer. Thats when i came across R2000DB. After a lot of research I finally ordered it and it was definitely a big upgrade from 42 watts to 120 watts. The bass was punchy and right as expected. The highs were very clear compared to my previous speaker. Sub woofer is definitely not needed for most of the songs according to me. Sound quality i must say is next level 👌. I really dont know how to express that feel. When u listen to songs that are mixed and mastered well, you'll have a immersive experience as if you are listening through a expensive headphones. Dynamic EQ on this speaker definitely works to create a immersive experience. Overall these speakers are some other level! I'm fully happy with these speakers.

Fantastic sound quality
I bought these speakers during covid lock down period with great difficulty at 17000. After 4 years of usage I must admit these speakers are best among the best. Sound quality is brilliant. Looks are superb. I have brown colour set. Remote though tiny still works flawlessly. Bass is very good. A little bit of more treble would have made this a perfect sound machine. But still no complaints. One can enjoy both old hindi movies and english pop on these. Connect using bluetooth from ur mobile phone and enjoy. Near perfect machine for music lovers. The only but is they are made in prc.

Edifier R2000DB + Logitech Z906
Review: Edifier R2000DB + Logitech Z906 (Subwoofer Only) The sound is absolutely stellar 😎 — crystal clear with stunning instrument separation. Every detail in the music shines through, which I used to miss on my Z906. I’ve paired the R2000DB with the Z906 subwoofer (satellite speakers unplugged), and now I get rich, clean lows without sacrificing clarity. While the R2000DB isn’t built for bass-heads like the Z906, it delivers a beautifully balanced soundstage. This setup finally lets my ears enjoy both deep bass and intricate musical detail — exactly what I was missing before.

Great looks, best sound quality, worst remote
First of all I must say that for those people who love quality music like Indian classical, Western classical, Gazal, or old Hindi songs or good old retro, these are the best speakers for mid sized room. I am using it for my LP record turn table and a CD player and sound is the best I have ever heard from my music collection so far. But Firstly note that these are studio moniters meaning the frequency response is flat. This implies that you will listen to the music exactly as-is. There is no sound coloration or extra effects added. So good recordings will sound excelent like you herd never before, but bad music will sound very bad. These speakers don't add extra heavy base needed for a DJ party, does not make high frequencies more brighter or sharper. They will play the music exactly as was engineered and recorded. So some people may not like it because they like artificial sound effects. For someone who really loves and appreciates purity of music, I will absolutely recommend these speakers. If you have a long 12 by 7 FT room or a mid size square room, these are best. Base is just accurate, not too heavy but still with a punch. mid frequencies are super clear and highs are perfectly high without being harsh. Sound of vocals sounds like live performance, Sitar, Santoor, Tabla and guitar sound very very real and pure. Some may find this at the mid range of budget or some may find this costly, but these speakers are worth the money. The only reason I rate it 4* is because the remote is rubbish and looks very very cheep. I am surprised about this because even the back panel buttons on the speaker are of very high quality. I feel the remote has to be improved else edifier is going to get a very bad reputation for this. There are 2 RCA line-in ports at the back and remote is the best way to switch between two. YOu can do it with the back panel right side button but it is some effort, so the remote is somewhat important. The quality of the remote must improve. Lastly, the packaging was not at all impressive in comparison to the look and build quality of the speakers. I got the box which was tampered and the speaker connecting cable as well as the speaker grills were missing. D V technologies in Mumbai were extremely helpful and promptly shipped the missing items. But I am totally disappointed with such sloppy packaging and delivery by Amazon. Conclusion: Go for these speakers by all means if you love beautiful music, you will want to hear more and more.

Very good ; quality speakers
These speakers are very good and provide a nice sound separation . I am not an audiophile but these are quite good for the price and the only downside is the wireless remote which feels like of cheap quality and might break in future , hope they update it otherwise very good product. By listening qawali and good mastered songs on these you could easily tell where each instrument is playing and is mind blowing

Pleasing listening experience!!
HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT. Well, I was more of an earphone person. Started from Sony and Senheizer(basic models) earphones, I purchased Bose sport and then Audio Technica Ath e50. Coming back to EDIFIER R2000DB, I started reading reviews in various forums and considering my budget, I tried my luck, and ordered online; without actually hearing them, in person. But I am satisfied with these speakers. They are pleasing to ears in loud volumes too; clear sound. It lacks sound stage than of my Ath E-50s. It's been more than a month, I have been listening to them for 5,6 hours daily. It delivers pleasing music in any genre. The Bass and Treble adjusts really do make differences too.

NOT = Kumandadan "Classic" moda almanız lazım mutlaka. Ben arkadaki ayarlardan Bass'ı en düşüğe aldım, öbür türlü kullanamadım. Sİze de tavsiye ederim. Bass çok yüksek yoksa. Mutlaka kısın arkadan.

I came upon these speakers by accident. I could say that destiny brought me to them but i won't go there. Simply a happy accident. In Feb. I logged into Amazon looking for some powered speakers to use with my TV. I had both Klipsch Pro Media and Bose Companion II in the past and expected I'd end up with one or the other. However, I wanted to check out what else was available in that price range as I hadn't checked out powered speakers in a while. I'm not an audiophile but I think I have a pretty good ear and wanted the best I could get in my price range. I've found that good speakers can make a pretty big difference when you are on a tight budget. As I was browsing I saw that Amazon was promoting a speaker by an outfit called Edifier, a name that I had not heard before. So I looked them over and they compared well with the others I was considering. One thing I really like about Amazon is the questions/answers and customer reviews provided in the product info. I always read at least some of both just to get an idea of what others are saying. I've found this info to be helpful when I'm not familiar with a product or the company selling it. The reviews for this product, the R1280T, over the top positive and other than folks that received a defective product, what issues people had seemed minor or subjective. The people not throwing down 4 ad 5 star reviews were still upbeat about the general quality of these speakers. I read all of the reviews and rechecked the specs. Then I went and found reviews of these speakers on the web and again everything was very positive. I hadn't seen this sort of overwhelmingly positive reaction to a product ... I guess ever. I made the decision to throw the dice, take a chance, and buy them. And they were every bit as good as everyone as said. They worked great with my TV and sounded better to me than the other speakers I'd owned before. To say that I was pleased is the understatement of the year. This finally brings me to the Edifier R2000DB. I had been considering putting together a modest system to listen to music on. I was just using a DVD running through my TV but wanted better sound quality. When I got the R1280Ts' I got the idea to upgrade the speaker system and forego the receiver/speaker system I'd been considering. I went to the Edifier web site and checked out their bookshelf speakers. The 1280's were the bottom of this particular line. I knew that I was on the right track. I compared specs and features along with price and finally settled on the R2000DB. I liked the next model up but was not able to make it work with my budget. So I ordered the R2000DB and received them last Friday. Everything was well packed for shipment and ready to go right out of the box. The R2000DB came in cherry or piano black. I chose the black and these are d**n fine looking speakers. The front is slightly angeled back and combined with the glossy black finish gives them a sort of elegant look. The powered speaker connects with the passive one with a 10' heavy gauge cord with a pin connector. There are controls on the back for volume, treble and bass. And connections for optical. 3.5mm to rca and rca to rca. All cords are supplied and while a person might want to upgrade these, it isn't necessary and IMO the fact that everything needed to make these speakers work right out of the box is included is a nice perk. Set up takes me maybe 5 min. and am ready to listen. The included remote control is small but simple to use. Off/on, mute, volume up and down, inputs for optical, lines 1 & 2 and Bluetooth and classic and dynamic mode. I hooked the speakers to the optical out on my TV and fired up the DVD player. I had received a copy of the Hoodu Gurus Blow Your Cool cd at the same time as the speakers so it went on first. With the controls on the back set to mimimum I raised the volume as far as I thought prudent. These play loud. No distortion percieved at any level and the bass boomed as if with a small subwoofer. The bass probably won't satisfy the hard core bass fan it's more than enough for most people. I live in a small 2 bdrm apt, maybe 900-1000 sq ft. and my listening area is approx. 13' x 10'. These speakers fill this room at any volume and sound fine back in my bedroom even at a normal listening level. The amps in the speakers deliver 60 watts per channel and have enough built in to allow me to not need a separate amp/receiver. I played several cds' and dvd audio discs mainly roots rock, acoustic, bluegrass and blues. Since my exposure to classical music comes mostly from old Warner Bros. cartoons I didn't have much to test classical except a DVD audio of the Moody Blues, Days of Future Past. Which sounded just fine, thank you. Lastly I checked out the bluetooth. Speakers connected and paired easily with my phone and though the sound wasn't as good as with the connected device, it was good enough, kinda like the difference between a stand alone radio and a cd played through a stereo system. I'm thinking that I can improve the sound a little by tweaking the audio on the source, but if a person can afford it the next model up has a codec that provides cd quality sound w/bluetooth. This is a tradeoff I was aware of and opted for. Overall I'm thrilled with quality of these speakers and would recommend them or any Edifier bookshelf speaker to anyone looking for a high quality, versitile speaker system at what amounts to a bargain price for what you get. Happy accident or destiny, I'm more than satisfied with this purchase.

El sonido es bueno, tiene buena fidelidad y aunque no cuenta con bajos, se escucha muy bien toda la composición. Las compré en $3500.00 y creo que es el precio adecuado para el sonido que emiten. También al no requerir amplificador es una gran ayuda para un cuarto aparte que no sea el de música.

Absolutely love these. I was a little unsure as I was reading a lot of reviews saying they are a bit bass heavy. However, I don't find that the case. I find these the be rather well balanced. These totally bring a whole new feeling to music and sound, no joke. The sound is so full and rich, it's immersive. They can get a little boomy if you turn the bass up on the rear of the speaker. But, you really don't need to for normal listening. Initial experience is amazing. Using a lot of hi-fi audio equipment in my life, and high end automotive audio gear. I can definitely say these totally sound way more expensive than they are. Being a bit of an older model, they still pack a heck of a punch, and for the price you definitely cannot go wrong. The build quality is amazing, they feel solid and well built, no issues with hiss or crackling. And they get ear piercingly loud if you want. If you're looking for a really good sounding set of powered bookshelf speakers, with decent connectivity I do highly recommend these. Using these near-field, on my desk, the sound staging is delicious. You're surrounded with sound, even though it's only a 2.0 setup. I have no desire to add a woofer right now, as these can hit the bass pretty good in a smaller room. Definitely give these a high consideration if you're looking to spend around this amount. You will not be disappointed.
