These were recommended by my vet when I adopted a severely malnourished puppy. He grew into a very healthy adult dog where I continue to give these supplements to him regularly. They are easy to chew and both of my dogs like the taste. I haven't had any side effects and it's worth mentioning the puppy has severe food allergies (grain and poultry).
