Westbrass D941K-62 1-3/8" Fine Thread Twist & Close Bathtub Drain Trim with One-Hole Overflow Faceplate, 1 Pack, Matte Black

Getting our house ready to sell I replaced these drain fixtures on both tubs. Job was super simple and fast. Minutes. Just get the proper drain tool from your local hardware store. It’s cheap. Will definately do this again on the next house.

I am replacing the warn polished brass parts on my whirlpool spa. The drain and faceplate matched my other parts perfectly. The color is rich. At first I thought the threading was inccorect. But after a few more tries, I found that it is just difficult to perfectly align the drain with the receiving PVC. If you find that the drain is not going in smoothly, try several times until you get a smooth turn. Don't force the drain.

It’s super elegant and nice but the drain was so difficult to instal with the gold piece. Took me and my husband about an hour to do so.

This is made of excellent quality material and at a very reasonable price. Easy to install and works as expected when correctly installed.

My installation did require the adapter sleeve (included). There is a thick gasket that goes between the tub surface and the drain fixture. A small amount of water does puddle there. If that bothers you then use plumbers putty to seal the drain to tub surface. Very sturdy. I put a lot of pressure on the install/extraction tool to completely seat the drain. More than likely break the plastic sanitary drain before you would this piece. Use some silicone grease (Armorall) on the gasket to facilitate tightening and not bunching up the silicone gasket in the process. No leaks as of this review.

Easy to install, looks great, holds a little bit of water around the ring of the tub, but that could be more my tub than the drain. Overall great product

Perfect fit for my 100 year old clawfoot tub. My existing overflow and drain piping (solid brass) was purchased 30 years ago from Renovators Supply. We had our tub refinished recently and the old drain was broken when it was removed. Finding a solid brass drain that was one and a half inches in diameter was a challenge . This drain is one and a half inches and fits perfectly. Just remove the outer sleeve and it's a perfect one and a half inch fit.

Unfortunately, the finish was chipped during install. I was hoping the finish wouldn't easily scratch/chip but it doesn't take much at all. It looks nice but is obviously of poor quality.

Just what I needed to complete mat set fixture we installed. So far so good. Has a very nice finish.

Not the least expensive item out there but looks GREAT in our tub. Makes our old tub look new and very sharp. Easy to install and appears to be very good quality.

as advertised. would be nice if it came with a better removal tool.
