Must have for a MacBook Pro
I went from a PC to MacBook air, then the MacBook Pro in just a few months which meant I had to swap out all my connectors. I travel for work and regularly present at meetings. I picked one of these up for my MacBook Pro, bought another for the home office and then bought one for my CEO. Best connector going. It gives you HDMI and several USB options to connect most everything you need

not all ports work correctly
I've had this for 7 months now. Then HDMI monitor port flickers and sometimes loses signal to my monitor which causes my laptop to revert screens back to its travel profile so I must wait as it reconfigs then reconfigs back to the dual monitor. This happens more and more often as time goes on - at first I thought it was a fluke. The power charger does not charge through this so I must use the other ports for that. I'm going to have to buy a new one now because of the monitor issue.

Takes forever to charge
Unfortunately, I’ll be returning this item. I plugged my usb so I can charge my phone into this port on my MacBook and it took 4 hours just to reach 50% is anyone else having this issue?! Smh. Will be returning ASAP.

Not suitable for high data-transfer speeds
I bought this item a couple months ago and when I first started using it (as an adapter for a flash drive) it was fine, but sometimes ejected my drive on its own. While this was a little annoying, it seemed to stop doing that after a week or so and worked fine. However, I recently tried to use it as an adapter for an audio interface to do some music recording. No matter what software package I tried, the hub couldn't handle the data speeds and would only pass through a little of the audio signal. I tried using Apple's USB to USB-c adapter and it worked perfectly, so the issue was the EKSA hub. I've tried it many times and it always fails, while the Apple adapter has never failed. If you need this for low speed applications it might be fine, but I wouldn't trust it for audio or video related needs.

Works great! Might drain your battery, though.
Works great! My only issue is that I purchased this to always stay connected to my MacBook and since it lights up when plugged in, it drains the battery. All of the ports work really well though! Just unplug it when you’re finished if it’s not on a charger.

So far so good!
Upgraded my wife's MacBook Pro and realized that the new ones only utilized two new ports, and based on how she uses her laptop, she was going to need something to expand the connection issue. I looked at several options and reviews and settled on the EKSA Thunderbolt 3 Hub, 7 in 1. So far so good. It has worked as designed, no issues yet, fully functional and is very compact for when we takes it on the go.

Works, but just ok
While this works, a couple of issues for why I returned. One, it runs hot, which scared me a bit. Two, there is no way you can put a case on your Mac if you have this on it.
