Reliable and Durable Boots for All-Weather Adventures
These boots have been outstanding for hiking in the mountains (Isle of Man and Scotland), remaining waterproof after many winters and over 300 days of use. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and provide excellent grip with their Vibram sole. The Gore-Tex membrane keeps feet 100% dry, and the improved fit makes long walks very-easy. Durable materials and simple maintenance ensure they last. Recommendation: If you need reliable, comfortable, and waterproof boots for outdoor adventures, I highly recommend the Scarpa Terra GTX. They’re a dependable choice for anyone WHO values performance and durability. It would be a mistake not to "BUY THEM".

They're Scarpa.
What can I add? They're Scarpa. Excellent brand known for quality boots and shoes. I've had them before and never failed me. Always kept the water out. Very comfortable and yet robust at the same time. Best leather only, Full skin. Vibram soles and goretex seams. You get what you pay for. Very happy with my purchase. Looking forward to hiking in them. Advice, get some Scarpa cream, insoles and laces. If you look after the leather they last twice as long. You will need new laces. They last so well the laces disintegrate long before the boots are finished. Insoles important for comfort. With daily use they should last about one year, but then you need to replace. Size fit, I would advise to buy a size larger as you'll probably be wearing thick socks with them. I buy one size larger anyway because I have wide feet and I find that fits me perfect. But seriously, I wouldn't go fell walking or climb a mountain in anything other than Scarpa. I swear by them. High Recommend.

Scarps Terra GTX Walking Boots
Worn them for the first time today and despite that, they were very comfortable to wear, no rubbing or soreness anywhere. They were recommended to me by a friend, I would also pass on my recommendation following the first trip out. Very stable throughout the walk that included a steep incline and descent. Quality boot! I would shop around as the price can vary significantly, most favourable price was on Amazon!

Worth every penny
Highly recommended, these are SO comfortable. Wore them everyday for 10 days hiking in Nepal and zero issues- no blisters or rubbing, waterproof and very comfy and warm. I looked at a lot of different hiking boot options before choosing these and I was incredibly impressed with these boots and I’d definitely buy again. Am considering buying the upgrade version (with the rub strip)

Fair weather walking only!
The "Vibram" soles so beloved & trusted by generations of walkers are a thing of the past. These modern soles are plasticky with no discernible rubber content, wearing out in record time and proving dangerous and unreliable on the wet, snow or ice, bearing absolutely no relation to their forebears whatsoever... another great name bites the dust!

comfortable, waterproof but wear out very quickly
the grips on the heal on these shoes wear out far too quickly. After 5 months there's barely any grip left on the heals. after 7 months they urgently need to be replaced. And they are quite expensive to be replacing twice a year. But they are totally waterproof. the only shoes I've ever had that live up to that claim. Also very comfortable. you also need the shoe cream regularly as well because the front of the boot at the toe crease hardens up quickly which is really painful on my big toes. but fine if you use the cream every few weeks. i do grudge buying another pair so soon but they are the difference between getting soaking feet every time with another boot and having reliable secure footwear.

Great quality, quite comfortable.
As many have said, comfortable from the start, no breaking in required. Soft, good quality leather, easy and quick fastening /lacing up, great ankle support and so far perfectly waterproof. Docking one star as I personally find the sole a bit too stiff (personally - my brother, who has the same boots, for example isn't bothered). That's great if you are walking on uneven terrain or soft ground, a bit less if you happen to have to walk on a flat, hard surface, even for as little as 20-30 minutes - it does make my feet ache a little.
