This is a good glove. You can't go wrong here.
God, I loved these gloves so much. Protected me from anything and everything. Although I didn't wear them daily, I found every excuse in my spare time to wear them. My girlfriend knew how much I loved them so she didn't give me too much of a hard time for wearing them around the house for the dumbest things. You want me to move the TV? Let me get my gloves! You want me to assemble the furniture? Let me get my gloves! You want me to cook dinner? Let me get my gloves! Hahaha. Seriously though. These were some good gloves. For things like gardening, the glove material is good for scraping the dirt and digging shallow areas with the tips of your fingers. That I could tell, the material was not affected by the gardening whatsoever. It held up very well with planting trees, bushes, and plants. I even removed a dead half-way cut palm tree with just these gloves and a $15 axe. Took me a while to get the roots out but I wouldn't have been able to do it if the gloves were not sturdy enough to allow me to grab on to the roots and repeatedly pull them out. They protect well against a cactus, ocotillo, aloe vera plants and other native desert landscaping. Obviously, you have to oerate around these things with care but they're good protection if you accidentally brush across a cactus. Can't hardly feel anything. Again, I don't intentially grab cacti all day so I don't know what repeated stress against sharp objects would do but I know they held up against sharp objects very well. Pulling weeds held up fine. Allowed me to do three hours of work rather than just one because my hands started hurting. You could probably pull weeds for 4-6 hours with no issues. They're comfortable enough that the repeated rub against your hand isn't felt but your fingers still have enough feeling to feel your way around the base of the weed and accurately find the center and pull it up. I've used it with some general woodworking, fence crafting, coop building, a/c work, furniture sanding, sealing, and painting, oil changes and other motorcycle work. It held up well with the building-related things but you might find it hard to work with smaller parts until you've worn the glove in very well. So, in that respect, dexterity may be impacted by the thickness and durability of the glove material. This can be a barrier and honestly, I'll probably not use them very often for motorcycle work. These gloves will absorb the oil - even if you are careful - and you need that oil/water/liquid resistant surface on the glove palm to work properly with motorcycle or auto work so while the gloves could probably hold up, I really would not recommend them for that type of work. The gloves lasted three months of use with no sign of falling apart but someone (my little brother most likely) must have had sticky fingers because they went missing after the last group yard project we held a few months back. I think if you use these all day, every day, you can expect them to last 1-3 months. People have unrealistic expectations of gloves. If you can perform your work for 1-3 months, 8-10 hours per day then the glove has done it's job and the truth is that you're in a profession that requires a cost to maintain. I work in IT and I consider having my own IT equipment at home - that the company does not pay for - as part of the cost of work. So for those complaining about how they hold up against every day use - be realistic! I have motorcycle gloves that cost me $80. They've lasted about 7-8 months of every day use but are starting to show signs of wear and a strap is broken; they will last another 3-4 months max (so $80-100 per year to wear my gloves every day on my motorcycle). So, if you want a better quality glove, you need to put more money into it. The strength and quality of a material is definitely impacted by what you're willing to pay. Otherwise, this is a good glove. You can't go wrong here.

Feel Protective and Not Cheap
Feel solid with good protection, fit well, good and thick for work situations. Probably not the best for warmth, and I don't think they're waterproof.

High quality
They are a little tight. I would go one size up from what you normally do but they look and feel high quality and super sturdy yet flexible. Looking forward to putting these to work digging with post hole diggers. My hands were getting ripped up!!

Mid-range price, mid-range performance, 4-time repurchase and still happy!
These gloves are an extremely solid product. Don't let the four-star review deceive you, I'm pretty damned picky about my product after all. They're not a miracle product, but they're damned good for the price that won't bust the bank. I work constantly with my hands in a warehouse. I don't just move boxes, I handle rough lumber pallets (not the pretty kind) and rebar/threaded rod. So let's get to the nitty-gritty, shall we? The breathable material between the fingertips allows for comfortable movement of the fingers without the catch-and-snag of leather. It isn't going to fight you every time you want to move a finger, and I like that. What's more, I'm fine with the material between the fingers because if you're stabbing yourself there on materials, you need to learn to close your damned fingers. The rubbers along backing of the glove (knuckles and extensions) aren't some crappy Chinessium-based glue that'll peel off if you pick at it like a bored kid picking at a scab. I'm a large burly guy that walks on his knuckles like a Silverback Gorilla going down the runway along unpolished concrete floors, dragging them along like I'm dragging out this review. They aren't going anywhere. The strap being on the bottom was the oddest thing to adjust to, but something I'm incredibly comfortable with. I'm happy to know that I got two laters plus the exterior rubber of the strap between me and some horrible sharp object looking to slit my wrist like my worst nightmare. It's comforting, reassuring, an most importantly protecting. My favorite feature of these gloves though? The extra layer of mystery fabric that lines the exterior between your thumb and index finger. In addition to having metal band wire snap at me like angry rattlesnakes, I also wrap skids by hand. I normally keep my thumb on the outside along the clingwrap to pinch it while my other four fingers sit inside, making this fabric lining a God-send. It also goes ALL THE WAY UP THE INDEX FINGER. THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO DO IT, BUT THE MADMEN DID IT AND I LOVE IT! Never again do I have to worry about re-applying duct tape to my gloves constantly to protect me smooth palms and fingers from blisters and calluses. These gloves aren't going to save your marriage or stop a bullet, nor last a lifetime. It isn't a miracle product, a 5/5 "It has literally saved my life and makes me coworkers inferior to me in every way" article of clothing. This is a 4/5 "I seriously can't work without these damned gloves" review from someone who is normally a stickler and just gives 3 stars to products that "could be better". If you all at Ironclad are reading this, consider sending this warehouse jockey some experimental product, and I'll slip you some feedback. If its something like this, I gotta have it.

Protect the hands
There is no job to tough or dirty that these gloves won't handle, and your hands leave unscathed. I was digging up the lawn doing sprinkler work and not a piece of dirt stuck under my nails. These are made to last.

Excellent product, very protective.
I've had these gloves for 2 years now and they're still going strong! The leather is genuine so it needs to be broken in, but once it's broken in they are very comfortable. They are heavy duty so I have high confidence in their protection. They fit well, easy to put on and take off because they do not use the velcro strap that so many have. I use these things all the time. Great buy!
