Fender Gig Bag

I bought two of these Fender Bags. Well made Bag and fits both my Fender Telecaster, and Stratocaster perfectly. Tailored to fit perfect without extra loose material flapping about. I wouldn't use them as a bag for transporting a Guitar. But as a cover for at home and to protect it from any bumps, knocks, and dust while sitting about the house it's all you need. The Large zipped pocket on the front is handy for Strings, Picks, Papers, cleaning cloths, and anything else reasonably slim. Bag has a two way zip, pocket on the front is zipped also. It has a carry handle, and shoulder straps on the back. Remember, if you have a Fender Bass, you need the longer Fender Bag type. And if you need a Acoustic guitar bag, that's a different bag type again. So double check before ordering. Other than that, they are well worth the price.

Great quality gig bag to replace a cheap and nasty PVC bag I used to keep my Telecaster in. I love the Fender Tweed stuff and having bought the tweed strap I wanted to get the case to match too (though sadly couldn't afford £130 for the tweed hard case, which looks great). Only knocking off a star as the colour of the tweed isn't exactly the same colour as the strap, but fairly close (see photo for comparison). That doesn't really matter to most people, I'd have thought. Other than that, it seems like a great quality case for the money. Tough fabric, good bit of padding, and includes top handle and rucksack style straps. The zip goes all up the side rather than just at the bottom end like some cases, so it's easy to take your guitar in and out. Inside there's a nice red fabric which doesn't catch onto things like my old case, and a bit of tweed patching to reinforce the areas that will sit on top of your headstock and bridge. The front pocket is handy too, and includes an address window, elasticated pocket and a zip up mesh pocket which aren't mentioned in the description. Maybe best to get the hard case if you're chucking it in a van where it might get squashed or bashed about, but this is fine for keeping it dust-free in the house and carrying it to places in the car or on foot.

As the title suggests, it’s truly the best you can get. It’s comfortable, well-padded, spacious, and made very well, so there’s no need to worry about tears. Plus, it offers excellent value for money.

Decent short scale case. So far, quality has been pretty good and zips have all stayed secure - bought this to protect a Rickenbacker 450 and it fits perfectly. I wouldn't have used it if it didn't feel secure as the Rickenbacker is a vintage instrument and needs good padding. Pocket on the front is a nice touch and even though it's a small case, provides enough for several cables. Lightweight and highly practical it can be folded up and stored nicely without developing any large creases.

Great guitar case, keeps my Fender Telecaster nice and snug. It's a very light case, but as the same time is seemed strong enough for transporting. The storage compartment at the front is okay, but not brilliant. It's enough to through a couple of cables in, but that's about it. Definitely better than buying a cheap travel bag.

Pleased with this. Sturdy, compact design and lightweight. Seems well made with a good amount of padding also has handle, back straps and storage space. Stratocaster (Yamaha) fits perfectly. Great for school / lessons. Son says it’s easy to carry and comfortable.
