Surprisingly simple and effective. Did exactly what I needed them to do.
I purchased the model 2 Vibrapods to eliminate floor vibrations that caused my turntable tonearm to bounce and skate whenever I walked past it. I sandwiched the 4 pucks under the feet of my Audio Technica AT-LP-120 which sits atop my Expedit shelves from Ikea and the problem was instantly resolved. No more bounce or skips! Not only that but the rubber helps ground static charge keeping build up away from the vinyl! They may seem a bit pricey but it was worth it because it does the job it was needed for and looks aesthetically part of the turntable feet so you don't even notice them. I read that you can also cut a raquetball in half and place them under the turntable and it will do the same job for only a couple of bucks but I didn't want it to look like an ugly MacGuyver solution so it was money well spent.

Best Bang for the Buck Isolation Feet
Worth a try for anyone looking for a slight audio improvement in their setup. It helped present a darker background and more focused image under my amps and power conditioner. The feet with the cones helped with spacial cues and air under my Oppo 205. Unlike other isolation system, the feet and cones offer great flexibility. The benefits or detriments seem to vary. Recommend trying different combination of feet, cones, or feet+cones to see what work best. Also recommend trying out 3 or 4 feet for each component. Good luck!

Works well, interesting sizing wrinkle
This is an interesting review: My rating is actually 3.5 stars (not allowed in Amazon's system), but could be four, maybe even five stars, except for one thing (below). The Vibrapods themselves work well. It's important to choose the correct model, as the pods are designed to squish down *a little* when in place, but not completely flatten. They seem to be as effective as anti-vibration products from Auralex and SVS, but at a lower price. The are semi-hollow in the bottom, and thus meant to be attached with screws. I managed to cut small pieces of 3M VHB tape to fit the inner circle, which works fine in my completely stationary application (a small component shelf sitting atop a subwoofer), but might not last in a situation where the component needs to slide around. So, what keeps them from being a 5-star product (IMHO)? My application weighs about 14.5 lbs. This is slightly above the recommended weight range of Model 1; and slightly below the range of Model 2 -- at least, when using four Vibrapods: Model 1: 2-3 lb. per pod (8-12 lb. for a set of 4) Model 2: 4-8 lb. per pod (16-32 lb. per set of 4) This is also true of the other models, except Model 2 -> Model 3: there are small, but significant, weight ranges that fall outside the recommendations for each size. I suspect that they were designed to match common audio components and speakers, and tuned accordingly. Or perhaps they we sized to prevent customer confusion when choosing a model? The Vibrapod FAQ implies that one should use 6 or even 8 pods to cover such situations. I'm sure that this works, but the cost and size increases might not make this appealing to many. (They also seem to be sold in packs of 4.) I ended up choosing a set of Model 2s and hoping.

Very nice product for isolating studio monitors.
These are a really nice simple way to isolate your speakers. We have used lead filled stands, cones, spikes, dampeners on our studio monitors. These do the job without the fuss. Our speakers weigh about 27 lbs each we ended up using 7 of these under each speaker knowing this is more than required. they are nice and soft vs. rigid helping with absorbtion. They do the job with a low profile and we mounted our stands right to the desk and ditched our heavy flour mount sand filled beasts.

Three years later
They served well for three years holding my turntable steady, (not a lot of weight mind you). I went to adjust my deck and the rubber/plastic has decayed into a sticky mess on the surface it was sitting on. The room it was in was temperature controlled and went no hotter than 78F. There's no reason for the material to degrade this quickly.

Excellent Damping for Sensitive Audio Equipment
Used to damp vibrations that affect preamplifiers, CD transport, turntable with unipivot carbon fiber arm. Vibrapods have been in system for over 20 years and have never failed to yield desired result. Before spending obscene amounts on specialty damping products try Vibrapods and spend the savings on something else to enhance your system.

Could accommodate movement better
These pods look nice, but on a room, with hardwood floors, with a wool rug, in a high end stereo cabinet, with its own dampening features, turntable skipped with nearby movement.

Impressed
My system is PMC 5 twenty and Arcam SA30, and it was better than good always, but then I decided to try to fight vibrations, after reading that Focal and Naim use damping in their $$$$$$ system wegting a LOT, and moved the amp to the lowest shelf and on these pods. I was shocked to see how the sound qualitatively improved. Update: I bought more of these for amps and pre/pro in my ht system and for Nucleus streaming - amazing improvement for Dolby Atmos and streaming. Ordered more for my 4k player to see if it will work as as well?
