Dr. Hans Nieper Magnesium Orotate Tablets, 500 Mg, 200 Count

I used to drink Natural Calm powdered magnesium until I read this form is more readily absorbed in your body. I take 2 tabs before bed and still feel I reap the benefits of magnesium. It makes me feel relaxed but not drowsy and gives me no stomach or digestion issues. I originally started taking magnesium for anxiety and the occasional heart palp and this product definitely keeps everything at bay. I truly believe this stuff is amazing. Don't hesitate to purchase. I have zero issues taking tabs or pills but I can see if you did you might want to break these in half or crush them and throw in some water or juice.

Because good health is very important to me, I am not a casual user of vitamins. I do plenty of both research and trial-and-error testing over time (with myself as the Guinea Pig before giving/recommending to others.). My first trial of Magnesium was with Magnesium Oxide (generally the type one might find in a drug store) which resulted in EXPLOSIVE diarrhea (so take this type to naturally relieve yourself if you are constipated). Next, I moved on to Ionic Magnesium which is totally absorbed by the body, and therefore never results in diarrhea, however, it is quite nasty to take orally --- to the point that sometimes even I had a gag reflex (and I have very high tolerance, even Citrulline Malate doesn't phase me) is very expensive and you have to take a good deal to get, especially beyond, a recommended daily dosage. This Magnesium Orotate is FANTASTIC...no resultant diarrhea, high potency and cost-effective. My search is over. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. I would suggest to the manufacturer that they would at least round the edges of the tablets or make them somewhat more oval in shape to facilitate swallowing.

I had no trouble swallowing these pills. After reading some of the reviews I expected something much larger. These were not a problem for me. They hold together and are tasteless. There is no gastric distress associated with them like some other mg supplements. I have tried many different types of magnesium supplements as I have terrible muscle spasms and leg cramps. I have taken these for a week and think they may work but am still undecided if they are any better than the magnesium maleate I took prior to this one. I would pay any price to not have the muscle spasms and leg cramps, but this one may fall short of my expectations. I will continue to take 4/day as recommended for the over 50 crowd and at the end of the month decide whether to buy again. I am not sure it is necessary to pay more if there is no detectable difference from a less expensive alternative.

These make me feel great, reduce my blood pressure, reduce anxiousness, and provide an excellent layer of protection for my heart muscle and cardiovascular system. Also helps with heart muscle cell repair. I take 5 tablets daily. UPDATE: not only has this reduced anxiety/stress, it’s helped me sleep better and it has completely cured my chronic life-long acid re-flux. What it’s done, is that it’s prevented my stomach/esophageal spasms, that was causing my re-flux. The worse part about my re-flux, was that it constantly had triggered sinus drainage from the acid irritation in my esophagus. Now, I have very little sinus drainage("post nasal drip") and zero acid re-flux irritation. This wasn’t my goal, but I sure am glad that I tried this particular Magnesium supplement!

Just received and wanted to point out the labeling issue. Why would they COMPLETELY cover the dosing information?! Unbelievable!
