Voice of the Trees: A Celtic Divination Oracle Cards – September 8, 2011

Not only is this deck an excellent oracle, but it is a fantastic way to start your studies of the Celtic Trees! I sincerely wish this was available 15 years ago when I started my own study. If you are a teacher or are a "newbie" I highly suggest purchasing this deck for that alone.The images on the cards are gorgeous and I liked that the artist put so much thought into them, even going as far as incorporating the actual woods of the trees in the ink itself when creating the original images. I've used this deck a couple of times for readings not only for myself but for others as well and have been quite successful on all of them. The book the deck comes with it is also fantastic. Not only does it come with an in-depth discussion of each of the cards, but it has suggestions on layouts and working with the cards in your magical undertakings.The only quibble that I have with this deck (and it really is just being nit-picky), is that the card stock could be a bit more heavier. Make sure to store them properly or they will start to bend at the corners. Otherwise, this deck is perfect.

Was surprised to find this out of print deck so reasonably priced. Exactly as described by seller and was in nice shape. I’ve been looking for this deck for a while and glad I found it.

I was excited to purchase this deck, since I grew up with a grove of trees behind my house, and have always felt them closely in my life. The deck does not disappoint, having clear, detailed drawings that invite, but don't distract.Based on Gaelic runes, the deck offers different paths to use; intuitive imagery, runes, or tree lore. Each card has a rune and associated tree lore in a detailed book. The book has the name, image of the card, lore, a diving charm, and suggested interpretations (both upright and reversed).My only downside is if there is an order to the book, I can't fathom it as of yet. The cards are not listed alphabetically (not even by the runic alphabet, that I can see), so referencing the book for a card is a time consuming search.Overall, an excellent purchase and a welcome addition to my oracle deck collection.

The first thing you notice about the book and the deck is the beautiful artwork. Mickie did a wonderful job. As I began reading the book, I was struck by the powerful simplicity. The layout, the suggestions on how to use the deck and spreads, the card meanings as well as the field guide are all user friendly and as appropriate for the beginner as the seasoned reader. I am very satisfied with this deck and the companion book and know it will continue to be one of my favorite decks. It is a powerful tool, vibrationally potent and such a pleasure to look at as well as use. Well worth the wait. Bravo Mickie! Well done. I love it.

I wanted to get my daughter (she is 62) something to thank her for being my caregiver and so knowing she wanted this deck surprised her with it. And she was so excited and loved the cards and the book which she said was a good size and full of intresting things. From the smile on her face I know she felt the cards were a good choice. And she said they were a good size as she has small hands and liked there being only 25 cards easier to use. So all in all it was a good purchase at a great price. blessings

The cards are really beautiful and I love the information. The only problem I have is when I pick a card I have to thumb through the book to find it. There is no index to say where the definition of the card can be found. If I've missed something, please let me know. Judy

Beautiful card set. I bought them mostly for the illustrations and they don't disappoint. I haven't had them long enough to see if they answer all my pressing life questions, yet, but at least they're pretty!

I bought this thinking it would come with the cards. Didn’t even care if they were used. It was for my birthday. Returning this as it’s just the book. The artwork pictures in the book aren’t even in color. ☹️

デッキのデザインがとても気に入りました。オガム文字が入っていてとても使いやすいです。カードは切りっぱなしの薄いカードで、簡素な感じです。大切に使います。

Lovely artist work on each card. Cards are light and easy to handle. Book that comes with it is a good reference.
