This is an unbelievable product. It is Chinese; some will object to that, but it is very good quality. A similar weight Really Right Stuff tripod is almost three times this price. Granted the RRS ball is nicer and smoother, but this one is very functional, easy to control and tighten. I use this tripod with my 6D and the 24-105 or even my 70-700 2.8 lenses, which some will say is too heavy for this tripod. It just about is, but if you want to get a tripod with half the weight, this is it; be careful and it will work for you. In order to be able to get this tripod to be this light the legs are shorter and thinner than "full size" models. The legs ARE flimsier, but since I use this for backpacking and landscape photography where most of the time I want the camera angles low, I rarely extend to the thinnest leg sections. The legs do not extend out at an angle of full size models either; this tripod has a narrower footprint. You can hang a bag on the center rod for more stability. I found that with the center rod extended, the camera takes many seconds to stabilize when upset. This is not good and a good wind gust might create an undesirable perturbance. Again, I don't believe that this is a problem for a backpacking landscape photographer. I also love the monopod option; one leg unscrews and the ball head can be transferred to the removed leg and used as a monopod. Two of the three legs have foam rubber covers over the largest section. The monopod leg does not; I would like THAT to be the one if any. My foam rubber gripe is the only reason I did not give this product a 6.

Shakes a bit when using a longer lense (1000mm), works perfect with smaller lenses

I needed a travel tripod, and couldn't afford the big names, so I decided to give this a try. I am an enthusiastic amateur working on my skills. This tripod has been working well for me. The size is great and it has been rugged enough for what I need. There was a bit of a learning curve to get used to the tripod, as with any new piece of equipment, but I have found my purchase most satisfactory.

Good size and weight, but every leg can not pull out smoothly, and one pod's twist leg lock can not locked at all. Only the product came with nice packing.

Decent tripod. I am returning it because I recently discovered that the tripods with the press clips to secure the legs are much easier to use than the twist knobs which this unit has.

This tripod was a great buy! It is more than I thought I was ordering since it came with a pouch. It is just what I wanted in a tripod- light-weight, sturdy, and easy to use. Very nice for a beginning photographer.

Excellant tripod. Sturdy but light and packs down small. Delivery was very quick. All in all a good purchase.

il treppiedi mi piace molto, bello stabile e sicuro. se devo fare un appunto, forse un poco complicato il fermo dei piedi. credo che dovrebbero essere meno difficoltosi nel funzionamento. un altro commento è sulla testa. credo che si dovrebbe trovare una soluzione per la messa in bolla.

Very good with the price. Instruction difficult... takes a while to figure out how to use it.
