UPDATE: Couldn't wait to order more 5+ stars
UPDATE: I gave some of this to my SIL to use. She had a white blanket that had a huge spilled coffee stain. She had tried soaking the spot before washing. It came out of the dryer with the stain barely changed. She said that she grated some of this soap like I told her, put it in the machine to wash her blanket. It came totally clean. AFTER being washed & dried & sitting in a throw away box for months. PROS: -- This is natural and because if the ingredients, I find it's very multi-use. -- It's very cleansing and doesn't bleach my clothing. -- It's affordable. I have cut one bar in half to use 1/2 on handwashing and 1/2 for the washing machine (grated). -- It smells good but not strong. It has a soft and subtle "clean-blue" type of scent, IMO. -- It leaves my clothing really soft and fluffy. I initially got this for my handwash items & it did work for them, Even my socks(which will sometimes still have a slightly dark color/dirty look on parts of the soles) come COMPLETELY clean. The colors on them don't fade but the white parts are truly white. The soap worked especially well on my microfiber dish rags. When handwashing clothing, I put the bar in a netted bag which generates a LOT of lather. Now, here is why I was so impressed that I ordered 3 more bars, then subscribed: I have old and cheap floors in my apartment's kitchen. No matter what I did before - steaming, soaking with hot water, scrubbing with pastes and other cleaners, and even lightly bleaching - I could not get the floor clean like it was when I moved in. Also, there is a really yellowed spot where I had a fatigue mat for a couple of years & that yellow would not lighten up, no matter what. When I used a mop and some this blue soap, the floor got REALLY clean & that yellow spot did lighten up. I bet it will be all white after another mopping or two! I wish I had a before picture, but anyone who has cheap flooring knows what I mean... So, yes, I am sold on this. I also love the light scent of it. The soap is kind of soft when wet but that makes it easier for handwashing clothes and for using on mops. I got so excited about this that I put it on our family's joke Christmas list (where we give each other unusual but useful gifts, like a good soap or shampoo or lotion that we find!). Since I got the 2nd set of bars, I put one bar in water in a jar. I use that to spray my shower, toilet, and sink to clean. I also grated on bar to use in the washer with laundry. I put one in the shower to wash with. BTW, there is EDTA in it this but it's the kind used in soaps and is safe (do your own research). This is what I found. "EDTA is poorly absorbed through the skin, making it unlikely to cause harm in personal care or laundry products. Regulatory bodies like the FDA and EU Cosmetic Directive allow EDTA in cosmetics and soaps in limited concentrations. Non-Toxic for Normal Use: at low levels, EDTA is non-toxic and does not pose a health risk for washing clothes or using soap on the skin.)" While this is safe for use on the skin and hair, I felt like it was almost too strong for my natural hair. It didn't dry it out, but I had to mix conditioner with it for the right balance. I really like how clean it made my skin feel without making it feel stripped and over-dry.

Try it
Use it for laundry and the body. Love it! A must try. Bar last forever. Love the smell! Great quality. Suds. Smell. Texture on clothes and skin… good! Doesn’t leave the skin dry either. You actually feel clean. My 13 year old son loves it too. Try it!

Mildly scented laundry soap
I had read so many glowing reviews that I was expected more. The soap works fine. Dirty white socks were better after a good scrub, but soaking in an oxy bleach resulted in whiter socks. The scent is light. I'm not sure that I would go out of my way to purchase more of the soap.

Works wonders
I swear by these bars. I grate a bar into a mason jar and toss a few table spoons into the laundry and never worry about lingering dirt smells. I also add a bit to my household cleaners and it makes my house smell great.
