GLD2460R Fireplace Log Set with Remote, Vent-Free, Dual Fuel, 24 Inch

THAT'S WHAT I THINK OF WHEN I SENT BACK THREE OF THESE LOG SETS, THE FIRST CAME ALL BROKEN UP (the logs) SO I SENT THAT ONE BACK THE SECOND ONE CAME MISSING PARTS AND BEFORE I GOT A CHANCE TO SEND THAT ONE BACK ANOTHER ONE ARRIVED AT MY DOOR STEP, THE SAME THING, THIS TIME IT WAS MISSING THE REMOTE CONTROLER THAT THEY SAID CAME WITH THE SET AND WAS SUPPOST TO CONTROL THE HIEGHT AND REGULATE THE TEMP. AND TURN IT OFF AND ON BUT I FOUND OUT AFTER CHATTING WITH PEOPLE ON LINE THAT HAD I PERCHASED THIS SET, IF IT WASN'T FOR THEM I WOULD HAVE BEEN STUCK WITH A EXSPENCIVE MISTAKE THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR RESEARCH ON ANY THING YOU BUY ON LINE THESE PEOPLE THAT POST REVIEWS CAN BE VERY HELPFULL. ONE THING GOOD I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS EXSPIERENCE IS THAT AMAZON WENT OUT THIER WAY TO HELP ME RECTIEFY THE PROBLEMS I WAS HAVING WITH THESE LOG SETS NOW IF I CAN ONLY GET THIER CREDIT CARD DEPT. TO REFUND MY MONEY ON ONE OF THE ONES THAT I SENT BACK I WOULD BE REALLY HAPPY BECAUSE I NEVER PERCHACED ONE OF THEM BUT THEY KEEP ON BILLING ME FOR IT AND THIS REALLY SURPRICES ME BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH AMAZON BUT WHEN I CALLED AND COMPLAINED ABOUT THE REACURING CHARGE I KEEP ON GETTING ON MY AMAZON CHARGE CARD THEY ALLWAYS SAY THAT IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT IT'S THE CREDIT CARDS FAULT AND I SAY TO THEM HAY LOOK I PERCHASED IT FROM AMAZON AND WHEN I PAY MY CREDIT CARD BILL I WRITE "PAY TO THE ORDER OF AMAZON" ON THE CHECK SO THAT SHOULD MEAN SOME THING WOULDN'T YOU THINK ! WELL THAT'S THE WAY I THINK. SO AS WE CONTINUE TO ARGUE OVER THE WRONG CHARGE THEY TURN AROUND AND GIVE ME A $50 AMAZON CREDIT SO WERE DOES THE $50 END UP GOING , OF CORSE TO THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY TO GO TORWADS THE LOG SET THAT I DON'T EVEN HAVE !!!! BUT THAT'S JUST ONE PROBLEM THAT I HAVE EVER HAD WITH AMAZON OUT OF THE HUNDREDS THAT I HAVE SPENT WITH THEM PUT I STILL TO THIS DAY I AM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THEIR CREDIT CARD DEPT. BECAUSE EVERY MONTH THEY BILL LIKE CLOCK WORK FOR A VENTLESS LOG FIRE PLACE INCERT THAT I DON'T EVEN OWN. SIGNED : DETZY

Out of the box and working in less than an hour!! I like that,I am an auto mechanic so assembly was no problem,the stones were numbered and instructions were clear. The unit itself works perfect and the remote function works from anywhere in the room. The only reason I gave it four stars is it doesn't have but one setting. It would be nice if it had like three settings,low,medium,high!!

Was scared at first that it would be delivered and some of the logs would be broken. I have heard a few people say this had happened to them. Not particularly with this product or company, but in general. Anyway, it got delivered to my house and within 30 minutes I had it up and flaming. Nice set, remote works awesome. Important to note, the connection point for gas in on the back right-hand side. On the unit I was replacing, it was on back left. Luckily I had a longer flexible gas line in my garage.

Great product. Work just as described. Received my set with 1 broken log. The customer service to replace this log was awesome.

Ordered this set for our living room fireplace, but I have noticed two things that are really bothering me for a 600.00 pricetag:1. I thought for sure that the one I ordered had a blower one it as I wanted one. I also got a remote as I am rather scared of not being able to start the fireplace without a remote.2. Log #3 was shipped broken. It is at the end, and we installed it anyhow, but it is bothersome as we would like it replaced just the same!

Bought this set of logs from my local hardware store for 459.99. We love this set. It does exactly what it says it will do. The Flames are a beautiful yellow and look like real logs burning. There is no smell and the remote is wonderful.
