How do you transfer candy from the dipping tool to wax paper?

After putting candy (preferably balls) in dipping tool and dipping in coating, shake off excess and flip over onto waxed paper. Swirl design will then be on top.

is this made in china?

I bought these so long ago I don't remember. But the brand name is Ateco and if you google it, you see they are in Canada. Not sure if the are MADE there, but that's where the company is.

For regular truffle or cake pop (1 tbsp), is the spiral in the 3-pc set big enough?

It looks small to me for a cake pop. I dip mine using a lollipop stick.
