The Gutter Guard Brush by Gutterglove

Brush worked well to remove pine straw needles on top of my leaf guards. The only thing i have found that works. Wish it was a little wider, but works as is.

The guy who cleans the gutters charges $250. Leaves and pine needles would clog the existing gutter guards so blowing them off the roof was a bi-annual event. Using this brush and a heavy duty 30 ft extension pole has made cleaning the tops of the gutter guards a snap. Doing the whole house takes about 30 minutes.The design makes it easy to get into tight spots using the end bristles.One issue I've had is with the twist on/off design. It tends to loosen up quickly from the pole. I've starting wrapping some blue painters tape around the brush head and extension pole to keep it from spinning around. A minor inconvenience but it would be nice if they figured out a way to keep it on tight.

This may be nit-picky but for my gutters the width brush could be wider. Maybe my gutters are deeper than normal, but it feels like it doesn't reach the back of the gutter. The brushes come out in many angles but none of them feel like they are exactly right to be working from the angle I am working from. Having said all of that, it does feel like it works ok to clean the leaves and gunk off the top of my gutter gaurds.

Was able to screw in the gutter guard brush into an extending 24' screw top pole. I was able to remove the leaves off the second story gutter that has always been difficult clean! I was able to clean the gutters off the four sides of the house within 15 minutes! The brush definitely removes all the leaves and twigs from off the gutter guards!

This brush does get the small dry leaves off the gutter guard pretty well. Does not do so well on wet leaves which are the ones that stick and will make the water flow over the leaves rather than in the gutter. All in all for the price, I think it is a good product. The handle screw hole does fit the standard painters extension handle so you can buy other extension poles rather than the one they offer.
