The media could not be loaded. This is so unfair, waited a week only to receive damaged goods. AND… it wasn’t cheap.

I'm a landlord. Last year in the middle of the summer, one of my tenants' cats turned on a heater while a curtain was up against it. It burned the curtain that was up against it. Fortunately, the smoke set off the smoke alarm and tenants got up and took care of it. No one was hurt.But it got me thinking. Many of my units use baseboard heaters. I wanted to upgrade them to something safer and more energy efficient. So, I started doing my research and came across the hydronic electric baseboard heaters. Thought I'd try it out.I started out having them replace the old heaters in a couple of apartments. I also had my people install the thermostat in each room far above the heaters. The responses from my tenants have been very positive. These heaters keep the rooms warm at a very consistent temperature. No upswing or downswing of temperatures like the normal baseboard heaters. My tenants tell me it is very comfortable heat. The energy bills have also come down quite a bit as well.Since the surface temperature is not scorching hot, it is safe for kids and pets. The on-wall thermostat prevents kids and animals from messing with it. Also more accurately reflect the room temperature intended.So, I have been ordering more and installing them in more and more units. I'm a total convert now. Some of my units have forced air furnaces and some have baseboard heaters. Eventually, all the units with baseboard heaters will have these.
