Excellent torch. Hàving only received it a few hours ago, I have already made use of the features such as dimmable beam, magnetic base and adjustable head. It does require an extension of accessories. A rechargeable dock which it either fits into or sits on as a shoe would seem essential. It should also carry a usb port in case a phone needs recharging and be adaptable for car aux and home. If this item exists, I have not been able to find it. I am also interested in a head torch variant and possibly magnetic rechargeable work lights that are the head alone.

Amazing value and what a great little tool, this illuminates an area rather than a focused beam, therefore spreading the light evenly in a confined space. So bright in the dark as well, bought 3 as so impressed. Tough and fits great in your hand and with the multi angle head an absolute steal.

Got two of these, one for the house one for the car. I don't need a gazzillion lumens, just a simple torch at a reasonable price. I like the adjustable head,, the magnet and if you keep your finger on the on off switch the brightness varies up/down then down/up. I've not had any flickering problems. One or two comments about rechargable batteries not fitting. AA eneloops fit and work.

Excellent hand sized torch with powerful magnet, adjustable head and easy change batteries. Only shortcoming is the lack of a hand cord at the bottom, but I transferred one from my 30 year old mini Duracell rubber torch which was ruined by leaking batteries. Two levels of brightness and a very strong magnet so good for plumbing or vehicle use. Looks and feels like it will last. Delighted.

Although I loved this flashlight and also the fact you can position the head in different angles , it's faulty as it flickers randomly on the higher brightness as many reported! I think it's an inherited problem with this flashlight. I liked it that much that I might try to buy another one and see if the problem persists or they have rectified it with a newer version :/

It's not expensive. I love that it uses the AA batteries so I have more controls and avoid poor quality batteries for those using usb charging. The torch head angle can be changed and the magnet at the bottom make the torch can stand firmly on the metal surface.

Absolutely loved this thing, but quickly enough it became very unreliable, if you turn it on then off, and try to turn it on again, it often wont, and you'll have to wait like 10 minutes before it decides to work again, doesn't matter how charged the batteries are. I have to mentally remind myself to keep it on and waste battery if i need it again very soon.

Compré esta linterna porque buscaba para mi coche una linterna multiusos que me sirviera para alumbrarme en cualquier circunstancia en una salida con el coche, pero a la vez con la que pudiera realizar algunas tareas de mantenimiento, especialmente cuando son de noche o en el garaje y no tengo luz suficiente. Buscaba una linterna robusta, con imán para poder adherirse a cualquier parte, con potencia de luz (a ser posible regulable) y versátil. Esta linterna tiene todo eso... y más, mucho más. Ya para empezar nos sorprende que anuncie que puede aguantar una caída desde 7 metros de altura (equivalente a 2-3 pisos), lo cual nos da una idea de su robustez; y es que está construida con materiales muy buenos, realmente te transmite solidez y resistencia desde el mismo momento en que la coges, pero al mismo tiempo es muy ergonómica y se ajusta a la mano mejor que anillo al dedo, es increíble. Es también resistente al agua: no es sumergible, pero sí aguanta perfectamente la lluvia y las salpicaduras, y de hecho es bastante estanca. Por otro lado destaca también su cabezal girable hasta 175 grados, con lo que podemos usarla tanto como linterna convencional (orientando el cabezal hacia adelante) como adherirla con la base imantada a una superficie metálica y luego orientar el cabezal según nos convenga. Esto además nos permite tener una linterna que funciona como linterna frontal convencional y como linterna de trabajo, sin tener que incluir dos lámparas/zonas LED separadas como necesitan la inmensa mayoría de los modelos que incorporan ambas opciones. Otro punto a destacar es el consumo. Es una linterna relativamente grande (25 cm), robusta (185 gramos) y que proporciona 300 lúmenes de luz durante 5 horas... ¡Y sólo necesita 2 pilas alcalinas AA! Tengo otras linternas con mucha menos potencia y robustez que necesitan hasta 4 pilas, y aquí podemos arreglárnoslas con sólo dos pilas, que por cierto vienen incluidas con el paquete. A lo mejor hay linternas más eficientes que ésta, pero para mí el no tener que cargar con 3-4 pilas como exigen habitualmente (como mínimo) este tipo de linternas, me parece un punto muy a favor. Las pilas se cargan fácilmente por la base, que se abre muy cómodamente pero que a su vez al girarla tiene un tope (suena un "click") para evitar que se abra sin querer. No obstante el mismo botón de encendido permite regular la luz si no necesitamos tanta o si queremos reducir el consumo: si tras la primera pulsación volvemos a pulsar por segunda vez, ilumina con mucha menos potencia (unos 30 lúmenes, pero suficientes para pequeñas tareas a corta distancia) y nos permite prolongar la duración de las pilas hasta las 30 horas. También existe la opción, tras encender la linterna, de dejar pulsado el botón y entonces veremos que la luz va bajando de intensidad; podemos soltar en cualquier momento cuando veamos que tenemos la luz que queremos, o seguir manteniendo la pulsación y entonces llegará al mínimo de 30 lúmenes y tras un parpadeo, volverá a la posición original de 300 lúmenes... y vuelve el ciclo a empezar. Personalmente prefiero la primera opción ya que es más sencilla, pero esto da idea de la enorme versatilidad que ofrece esta linterna. Añadir que a máxima potencia tiene un alcance de unos 30 metros; hay linternas que ofrecen mucho más alcance, pero eso es porque ésta linterna no focaliza la luz en un haz sino que la emite en un ángulo muy amplio, de manera que podemos iluminar incluso una habitación entera con ella. Es increíble. Personalmente prefiero ésto, me parece mucho más útil para la finalidad que tiene esta linterna, y focalizar 300 lúmenes en un área pequeña me parecería una tontería y acaba distorsionando la propia visión de lo que alumbras. En definitiva: si estáis buscando una linterna resistente, todoterreno, muy versátil, con mucha potencia de luz, apta tanto para una salida al campo como para un arreglo en el coche, que no gaste muchas pilas, y que posiblemente podréis pasársela a vuestros hijos y seguirá funcionando... Esta es vuestra linterna. ¡Realmente estoy encantado con ella! Espero que mi opinión os haya resultado útil.

Una meraviglia di torcia

Ho acquistato la torcia per eventuali situazioni di emergenza in casa o da portare in viaggio con la famiglia. La luminosità è eccellente come la robustezza. il problema? dopo un minuto di utilizzo selezionando la luce "sfarfalla"in modo davvero fastidioso. Ora non ho più la scatola e non so se posso rendere il prodotto. Con il link contatta il produttore si pare una finestra che rimanda alla casa madre Energizer. Una autentica buffonata.
