Skunk Ape Tree Stands

I love this stand. There are a couple things I would change about it.1. I would move the bow/gun holder higher possibly to the shooting rail area. I think it sits to low to get a good grip on your weapon jmo!2. I am going to add a plank with ropes to tie off from the lower portion of seat/shooting to provide a footrest.Other than that y'all at Skunk Ape did a phenomenal job in producing this stand. I am a 1000% pleased.PS I have friends that are jealous

After wasting two days assembling it, it would not come together. Zero instructions on how to assemble it. The hardware rusted. The stand itself bent from assembly. My money was not returned.I have bought many tree stands, this is the absolute worst one I have seen.

Only been up a month.comfortable but thought the platform went all the way behind you back of seat breaks nothing to stop ya from hitting ground or if you forget to put pin in and lean back

What a great stand! This stand is not something you move around to different spots...so if that is what you are looking for don't get this stand. If you have a hunting spot that is productive every season this is the stand for you...put it up, lock it in, and it will be there hunt after hunt. I built a platform on the open side of the stand. That is the only thing that should be redesigned because 360 degree comfort should include someplace to put your feet when facing away from the tree.

The ladder was flimsy and bent like a wet noodle when we tried to raise it. It is nothing more than scrap at this point and not salveagable without more time and money. Don’t waste your time and money on this one. I’ve assembled and installed a dozen stands and two blinds on my property over the years. This one is a fail and a salvage exercise for the dump.

This unique stand faces the tree and has you climb a ladder that comes up under the seat. Facing the tree conceals you. Being up high helps conceal and avoid scent. Comfortable for that long sitting. I intend to buy my second stand.

This stand thus far has been a money pit. It had no instructions, it's very difficult to put together and very difficult to out up. I had to wait 3 months to get a large machine in the woods to get it pushed up to a supported place. I spent 100 dollars on tie downs. This tree stand gets a zero for me.

This stand is very comfortable! I feel secure in it, the rails are great for stability and having the ability to shoot around the tree is awesome. Great stand!
