I bought this for my husband, as he has trouble sleeping sometimes. It has definitely helped him. I've noticed that he is doing better at staying asleep now. I got into his side of the bed once to test it out, and wow, it feels great. So comforting. I wanted to stay and fall asleep... It doesn't slip off the bed at all. The colors are nice -- I got the teal/grey one. I haven't yet washed it, so I can't speak to that. I'm really glad I found it.

I purchased this particular blanket because it had color options. I didn’t want a plain gray one.The first night I slept like a rock. Didn’t move once. It’s been over two months since I have been sleeping with the blanket, and although I sleep better, it was nothing like the first night. My body has gotten used to the feeling of a weighted blanket.For people looking for a cure for sleeplessness, this is not it. However, it does help a little with sleep problems. Just bear in mind that you may build up a tolerance for the weight.My suggestion is to maybe buy a heavier weight than you think you need.If I could do this again, I would also have bought a bigger size.Overall, I recommened this as an assistant to helping you sleep better.

The blanket is too heavy for me and I went by the weight they suggested. The blanket is also too hot for me to sleep.

Blanket looks great. I bought it for my grandson for a Christmas. He’s going to love it
