Exactly Right
I had purchased a Bluetooth transmitter last year at this time that worked decently for the price point, but I had to turn the volume on my stereo to the max setting up in order to actually hear it. Eventually, that model seemed to wear out and I could barely hear it at all. I mostly figured that all transmitters would be the same. After researching about a dozen Bluetooth transmitters, I decided to go with the SONRU device based on it's reviews as well as the option of positioning the device wherever I want and not being stuck with just leaving it in the lighter socket.Firstly, I LOVE that I can position the transmitter wherever I please. I did not use the vent adapter because I have odd vents in my Scion. Also I live in a hot climate and don't want to block my vents. However I did use my own magnet with double-stick tape and positioned the transmitter, which has a magnet of it's own, in the perfect spot for my needs. It worked perfectly and I can have it within reach for adjusting the volume or changing the song. The SOUND IS AWESOME! Unlike my previous transmitter, I was able to keep my stereo at a decent and respectable volume, which means on the rare occasions that I use the actual radio, I am not blasted from the volume being at maximum. So that's my experience...and now I need to update my review for my last transmitter. Happy listening Amazon peeps.

Very simple device with dual usb ports to charge your phone.
Okay the pros:2 USB ports so two phones can charge at onceEasy frequency tuningYou can attach it to a vent so its not down next to the shifter in the wayThe display though harder to see in the daylight is dim enough that it does not distract you at nightDecent sound for the priceThe Cons:There is frequency bleed over, it cant be helped with the transmitter that close to your radio but it only seem to be within the +/- 0.5 of the set frequencyWith the volume at 15 and your phone fully turned up the system distorts the audio, I found running the volume (signal str) at 12 to 13 and your phone volume at 90% seems to be the best comboNo preset for stations. I do a lot of driving into different areas and find I have to change the broadcast channel depending on where I am.Magnet that holds the unit to the vent could be a little strongerFinal words:Yes I would purchase this again, and I likely will for my wife's car. The setup is super easy, I do not even remember reading the manual for the unit. The ability to place the main interface where you want it is very nice, I have had units before that didn't allow it and always ended up pinching my fingers when I would put the vehicle in park. I would recommend this purchase to anyone that does not have bluetooth built in to their deck and doesn't want to replace it. It only requires a little adjusting to get decent radio quality out of the unit. The vendor was hassall free and has made contact with me to verify I am satisfied with my purchase. Even if this is an automated message it is still nice that they took the time to enable it. I have purchased other products and never hear back from the vendor asking if the system works well or not.Sound quality is a 4 star not because its bad, but because it could be better.Ease of use is a 4 star, not because it is bad either but because it could be better.Value for the money is a 5, it works as designed without any real issue and provides me with the ability to listen to pandora in my older vehicles without hassle or a pain to setup. This would equal a 4.33 star rating over all but I do not think you can give that so I gave it a 4.

Best FM Transmitter I've Ever Used!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is by far the best transmitter I've ever tested out! Sonru asked me to make a video with it a few weeks ago, and to this day I very impressed with its performance and ease of use. The Bluetooth and built in USB charging ports are both amazing features that I use all the time. Check out the video for more information, and check out my channel for the full video! :D

For Those Who Must Have Music, This Is Your JAM!
This thing is a Godsend! I recently had to sell my 2014 Ford Escape which I could sync to my phone for cash and quickly turn around and buy a used car for as little as possible. That put me in a 2006 Chrysler Sebring convertible. Definitely fun to ride with the top down in SoCal June weather but all it has is an AM/FM radio with single CD player but no auxiliary or USB’s. I’m sure it was premium for the time but not for my purposes and whatever reason the reception hasn’t been that great. And who listens to the radio anyway? So I started facing the reality of having a new stereo installed where I could sync but then stumbled on this whole FM transmitter idea thanks to a You Tube video. Anyway I spent a whole evening into the wee hours looking at numerous transmitters and decided to get this one as the reviews were good, some guy did a video actually using the thing which really helped and for $18.99 and quick shipping, it was worth the risk. I figured if it didn’t work, I’d return it and go the stereo route. So glad I did. The package arrived, I popped it open and within minutes I was rocking to the tunes on my iPhone! It’s really easy to set up and use, though I did have to bop around the dial to find a frequency that played without any static in the background. But it really didn’t take long before I found a signal that worked, popped the top town and took a cruise rocking to some Buddy Holly. The coolest thing I found was that you can make the music totally CRANK, when you turn up the volume on your phone, the unit itself and the stereo - it’s three separate volumes! I wouldn’t crank all three to “11” (for my “Spinal Tap” friends out there) because it can get a little scratchy and I don’t want to fry the unit or my speakers. But I found a volume that works and that volume was definitely loud, crisp and clear. I also made a test outgoing call and that worked perfectly - the voice on the other end came clearly through the speakers and I was told I sounded loud and clear before. If I had to list “cons”, it would be that while the vent holder stays in the vent, it doesn’t take much for the magnet to pop off if I hit a good bump (OK, gotta watch the speed in the parking lots) or if I tried to use the switches to advance the music. But that one can be rectified just by doing it all through the phone, so no biggie. Also I turned off and re-started the car, left the radio on and in the same frequency and unhooked the unit from the cigarette lighter (with the “on” switch still “on” and the unit re-connected to my phone and with one push of a play button on my phone, I was back on the road rockin’. So again, I’m really glad I bought this. The cord is a little long but that’s not an issue for me, and I didn’t thing one of the ones with the “arm” would fit the car right. So that’s my review. I’d highly recommend this product for those of us driving “old school”, and it was not written in exchange for a free unit or any type of discount. It’s such a great deal for all this convenience in terms of being able to play music and talk through the car. Hope this helps you in your search but what are you waiting for? BUY THIS! Go ahead, I’m waiting...good luck!
