Kid's Rampart Mid Waterproof Boots

I ordered two different big kids boots. Timberland (my third pair) size 6.5 which was a bit too large (sizes have varied a bit in the last 2 years) and this boot in size 7. The size 7 is at least a size too small.

I buy these shoes every year for my son, I just keeping buying the next size up. They are a durable and affordable boot for kids.

I disliked the fact that the description of this shoe did not include the fact that they run small for boys .Any one with a long toed grand son that normally ware a size 4 should get a size 5.This adjustment will save them an exchange for a larger size . Other than sizing these seem to be just as advertised. I ordered these for myself and my daughter since my son already has a pair from this brand and likes them. We have small feet so just ordered kids sizes. They fit well and stayed dry on a snowy, slushy hike. Only complaint is that the back of the ankle is quite stiff, but after 10 miles of hiking over the weekend they seem to be breaking in nicely. Overall great budget boot.

I'm not a kid, but as a woman with small, wide feet, these boots are perfect! I bought my second pair of these Northside boots after putting hundreds of miles and 2 years of daily wear on my first pair. They are mostly water-proof out of the box, though I put a coat of spray-on water-proofing on them for wearing in winter snow. These boots are well-made with good support at the ankle (tops come to ankle-bone). Very Happy with these boots!

My son tried them on and was very happy with them says they were really supportive and comfortable. Then he decided he didn't like how the shape is in front (he's very picky) so they're just sitting on the shelf unfortunately. Haven't tested the waterproof feature

Great shoe for someone on their feet constantly. I spend a lot of time stocking the shelves at a local retailer and they are perfect for that kind of work.

fits is right on. wish they had 5.5 size. at least they will fit till spring. we r in california and will be used for hike, school days when its wet and raininy. nice boot, very soft interesting material on the inside, prob whicks sweat and stays warm at same time. this is not thick inside or furry. tread on bottom is awesome, boot is lightweight so my 8 yr old boy can still run fast and move easily in them. i like the top hooks for easy on and off...so use last holes then make a big bow, then you go right to left hooking laces. its an awesome trick for kids to get in out of boots fast with this type of fasteners..love them. nice color and fabric is really good. i mean al,most better than our Keehn boots, shoes. wow
