Solid pen, grippy finger hold, smashing. Paint wears off with use and getting beat up in bags and pockets, but develops a nice patina so still looks nice.

Great pen, sturdy and nicely weighted. Premium feel. Refills are easy to come by, first job was replacing the stock ink fill with a narrower tip. DIe-cut finger grip is cut well and is easy to hold. Pocket clip is strong and so far has not bent or become loose. Only criticism is that I bought it in black, and the coating very quickly started wearing away to reveal the brass colour underneath. I use as my main pen in a professional kitchen though so may last longer in a personal or office environment.

This is heavy for a ballpoint, but so well balanced that you don't notice when writing with it. The knurled grip stops your fingers from sliding, which is an issue with the otherwise brilliant Parker Jotter, especially the metal-bodied versions. It takes a G2 iso refill, the same as a Parker Jotter so widely available. The Rotring refill included is great quality, a deep, solid black and butter smooth. Little if any movement from the point - a very precise writer. Two possible issues: the spring isn't fixed inside the tip so use care when reloading, (though refills with springs are available online should you lose it); and being knurled brass it could easily scratch other pens if stored with them. Expensive, but I'm glad I bought it.

Bought for myself some time ago, and since purchased 2 more as gifts (gift recipients echo the following). They're great in regards to look, feel, satisfying click and have a nice flow when writing, jotting, doodling. Overall, very tactile and enjoyable to use

This Rotring pen is quite slim, which might be a bit of a problem for people with large hands, but I have found it comfortable to hold once I got used to it. The textured grip is neither too rough nor too smooth, and the hexagonal main body means it doesn't roll off flat surfaces. The all metal construction is top quality and it doesn't show any marks even though I've dropped it a few times. It should last for many years, and probably decades. I also like the fact it takes Fisher refills.

I have been a long-term user and admirer of rotring products since my student days and bought this as I liked the aesthetic of it and it was on offer. The matte black finish appealed. It has a good weight and presence (for want of a better word) in use, and the supplied rotring cartridge is very good. The body is brass and quite thin, which may not be to everybody's liking; it took me a while to really warm to it as I am used to a fatter barrel. The brass either adds to the pen's charm or detracts from it, as it soon begins to glimmer through the matte black finish where the pen is gripped. From my perspective it is disappointing, as Rotring must be aware of this cosmetic issue with the durability of the matte black finish in production and product testing and have not addressed it. In premium products such things matter. Would I replace it if I were to lose it with the same again? Probably, as it is a good writing implement. The resilience of the black finish does however leave something to be desired.

Je viens de recevoir mon rotring 600 avec cartouche noire, bien protégé dans son étui carton + carton Amazon. Pas de casse, car le métal c'est fragile au chocs et marque facilement! Impeccable. Merci beaucoup. Utilisé surtout pour les courriers administratifs, les envois de chèques, de recommandés, de suivis, etc., car il faut écrire lisiblement en noir et impressionner le "carbone" qui est derrière le bordereau.

Absolut toller Kugelschreiber! Mit meiner Affinität zu hochwertigem Schreibzeug bin wirklich begeistert von diesem Kugelschreiber. Das schlanke Design mit der mittigen Gewichtsverteilung liegen perfekt in der Hand. Die Verarbeitung und Materialien sind Top und gerade durch das Griffstück vorne mit der "Riffelung" lässt sich der Kugelschreiber ausgezeichnet führen. Der Druckmechanismus ist ebenfalls ausgezeichnet gearbeitet, das Geräusch hat beinahe einen Wiedererkennungswert wie das Klicken beim Öffnen eines Zippos! Das ist ein Kugelschreiber den man nach dem Verleihen wieder zurück verlangt!

This is the BEST PEN I HAVE EVER USED!!!! While its construction is aluminum, it manages to still be extremely light and perfectly balanced. Tolerances are perfect. No rattling during use. It's basically sealed up when not in use. And the button sounds amazing.

This pen is exactly what you need if you write a lot. It's durable, feels premium, and it's definitely going to hold out through the years! Highly recommend this one!
