Hickory Farms Summer Sausage Hardwood Smoked (Pack of 2)

This is the same great summer sausage that I have enjoyed for many years! I don't know what happen with the orders that "some of the other reviewers" posted, but my sausage arrived the day after I ordered them, Fresh and tasty! The same great taste we use to enjoy during the Christmas season. Only I can enjoy it year round. I trust Amazon to deliver high quality products in a very timely manner. But if you ever have a problem, just let them know; and they will do everything they can to make it right by you.

Unfortunately I didn't open this in time after receipt to return it. Though marked as good for almost another 6 months, the moment I opened it it looked rotten - disgusting grey outside, and only the very inside was the color it should be. Didn't even dare eat it and threw away both sausages - can you say getting sick just isn't worth the risk!Lesson from this, open as soon as it arrives so you can return it if it's as bad as mine was.

For me, this beef and pork product is just OK. I have fully enjoyed their all beef summer sausage for decades.

One was ruined, great and stank. The other was fine, but I was leery. Amazon took care of refund. I will try again later on.i love this product.

Tasted flat and too much fat. The beef product is great, but stay away from the pork. Poor quality and overpriced.

Great tasting sausage. Prepackaged for convenience of use. Goes well with crackers and cheese. A little pricey but I would buy again.

this stuff is greasy has a funky taste i dont know what they ground up to make this sausage but it taste like ass and not a clean one either
