Great Guitar at a Great Price
This is a great instrument. Sure, it's not a $1000+ Taylor in terms of sound or build quality. But for less than $200, this is one of the best guitars available. I tried a few while looking for a new guitar while getting back into playing regularly. I didn't want to break the bank, and so after extensive testing and researching I settled on the Rey. This instrument sounds good, plays good, and came set up well out of the box (it also looks REALLY good). I could go into some of the issues that a value priced guitar has that this one does, but for a beginner or someone returning to the instrument, this is a great purchase.

Great little guitar
I like the excellent value of this entry level Orangewood but I really love the sound! It's light yet feels sturdy and appears to well made. The natural mahogany grain is beautiful and the satin finish is smooth, not a blemish. The neck is slick and fret edges smooth. I put new Ernie Balls on since Orangewood uses cheap strings on entry level guitars. It sounds amazing. Very mellow lows and not too twangy highs. It's not as loud as a dreadnought but plenty loud enough and so much more comfortable. This Orangewood grand auditorium style is so easy to hold and to play...it makes making music a joy!

Great beginner Acoustic !!
For a budget guitar it’s worth it . I am use to playing Taylor and Martin guitars . I bought this for my wife to learn on and was pleasantly surprise with the tone and initial setup. It definitely doesnt feel the highest quality , but the sound wow incredible. Highly recommended for beginners

A Lot of Quality for the Money
I ordered this guitar to donate to a church in Honduras. Though the cost was very reasonable, this guitar has the warm intimate sound you expect from a mahogany guitar. The workmanship is excellent. The gig bag is better than most. I recommend this for a beginner or intermediate player. An excellent value.

Good beginner guitar. Sounds good
Okay yeah it's a cheap guitar, but it's pretty dang good for cheap guitars. I'm satisfied. Getting the little toys with it wasn't a deal breaker for me, but they're nice to have. I'll play it from time to time and it sounds good enough that I can really get into it. I'm no guitar expert, but I watched a lot of Youtube videos about guitars to get for beginners, and this one was never mentioned. Some of the ones that were mentioned were really, really bad. So maybe guitar experts don't know how beginners feel. Maybe all guitars below a certain quality feel equally bad to them. Idk. I like this guitar, and I have a modicum of experience playing music, so I feel like I know what a good and bad sound are. Would recommend to someone interested in getting into playing guitar.

Great starter guitar!!!
Bought as a kick around guitar for me and did a basic setup, adjust neck sand bridge to bring action down, and put a good set of strings on it, and its a great playing and pretty good sounding guitar for under 200 bucks! Impressed really!!! Good job Orangewood! And i added the black pearloid pickguard the tortoise shell one they send doesn't look good on darkwood guitars.

Not packed well, not set up
The guitar is shipped in a gig bag in a box, that's it no other protection. Mine arrived with the box torn open and the accessories missing. The guitar does not have new strings as I was led to believe. As far as being set up it arrived like any other guitar does, it needs new strings and fret board oiled, action lowered and some fret ends smoothed. For the price it is not a bad guitar but all the hype about being set up before shipment is not totally true.
