Well made Bird Cadge but no Feeder
This Bird Feeder Cadge (Guardian) is sturdy and well made. As far as i can tell so far it dose stop the large birds and squirrels from eating all the nuts in the feeder. The picture is slightly misleading on the Amazon site as the cadge does not come with the perspex feeder tube (purchased separately) and it needs the Jacoby Jayne feeder to make the cadge work properly as the bottom tray is attached to the feeder with a perspex screw. The cadge is good but would benefit from clear explanation on the web site.

Bigger than I thought
Bought this to deter starlings from devouring mealworm in about 20 mins. Needed to go on and buy their medium ring pull feeder to go inside this cage. Although not cheap they are quality items. I did think at first that the gaps in cage were too small but sparrows and other smaller birds now feeding happily. Although larger than I thought they are available in the smaller size. The feeder is available for Niger seed (with the tiny holes) as well as the more usual feeder for wild bird seed. So careful when you order. Quality product.

Fits my 4 port bird feeder & does the job
I bought the Jacobi Jayne Birdfeeder Guardian to limit access to one of my seed feeders from the local jackdaws (don't worry, there's still a seed feeder they can use but this means they don't get to eat ALL the seed before the little birds have got their beaks in).This size 2 fits neatly over my 4-port seed feeder. While the plastic screw provided for attaching the seed feeder to the guardian's base doesn't fit in to the base of my seed feeder, this hasn't impacted on the use of the guardian as the guardian's base presses tightly enough to the bottom of the wire dome so that it stays there.I'm very pleased with it.

Missing parts
When I opened box it was missing plastic screw which is essential. Returned and ordered another. Came with same part missing. Rang Jacobi Jayne and have sent missing part. Returned first Guardian to Amazon on Apr 14th, still awaiting refund. There is something wrong with quality control that allows this to happen.

Stops squirrels hanging upside down and licking out the sees. They get very frustrated and we are hoping they will eventually give up and allow the birds to feed. The birds have not been put off by the guardian.

Trades Description Fail!
VERY misleading picture of this product and description did not make things clear- shame on you! Feeders not included and only one cage making it quite expensive- this will be returned!
