Well made
I used this ascender to climb a tree to retrieve a model airplane up about 120 feet. At first I though my rope would slip a bit as there are no grips on the base side. The cam held the rope with no slip and no delay in gaining purchase. My only complaint is that the locking mechanism sticks out very far. When climbing trees with branches, you need two flip-lines and the locking mechanism did interfere with my other line set-up. Overall, it did exactly what it was supposed to do and it did it well. Would buy again if ever needed.

Looks solid in the hand. Still would not use for a live human load. Never really know with Chinese mystery metal.

Worked fine. The cables that hold the pin and catch to the main body slipped out but didn't effect the overall function of the part.

I really like this rope grab it's easy to install on the Rope. I used it to climb a tree and teaching my son how to use it was easy

Perfect!
Super strong construction. Simple. The quality is better than I hoped. I went climbing as soon as I got it this morning and I will get another two, one for my lanyard and one for my flip line.
