Still can't believe I only just started this series, plenty of feel good moments and parts that made me chuckle.

The artwork is gorgeous and the story is very wholesome, quick to read, but lovely stories!

A good follow up. Slowly building the Characters and starting to slip with remembering the names but I like where the story is going. The art style, the way Komi's expressions are drawn, just looking at her eyes tell you how panicked she is especially in funny situations. One particular 'friend' I can see as being very problematic on the road to 100 friends.

In the first book Komi found a friend in Tadano who understands her communication problems and help her finding other friends. This book introduce more friends and relations and it is clear that while Komi cannot communicate the other persons also have problems of their own. Examples: Yamai who is so obsessed with Komi that she turns into the yandere-archetype. Komi's mother who is speedtalking to a point where she almost is an embarrasment. Yadano who see Komi as a strong and invincible opponent in anything Yadano do. The ramen-chef with a communication problem as big as Komi's. But more and more Komi is contend with her world and her (strange) friends and she is growing more and more beautiful. And as always Tadano has her back. The book is wonderful and strong drawn and I am sitting with a warm and happy feeling every time I read it - because of the character development in Komi, the friendship and the deep understanding of social anxiety problems that so many people have.

Bought this for my daughter this. Loves anime and is really enjoying this collection

What a book series

Like the first volume, The adventure of Komi is filled with cutes moments and despite the Apparition of a certain Yandere-type character, the moments between the characters are well-written. Friend's count in the end of the volume: 94 friends to go! Good Luck, Komi!!

I just finished reading Vol 2 and I loved every moment of it! Because this volume builds beautifully on the story of Shoko Komi as she continues her quest to make 100 friends. The introduction of new characters adds so much to the narrative. Each one brings their own quirks, and I found myself enjoying how they interacted with Komi and each other. The humor is spot-on, and I laughed out loud at several moments, especially during the misunderstandings that arise from Komi's communication struggles. The art is fantastic, capturing the characters’ emotions in such a relatable way. You can really feel Komi's anxiety and determination through the illustrations. I appreciated how the manga delves into her internal thoughts, making her journey all the more poignant. Komi's friendship with Tadano continues to develop, and their interactions are heartwarming. He truly understands her in a way that others don’t, and it’s refreshing to see their bond grow. The way he supports her while navigating their everyday school life is both sweet and inspiring. Overall it is a delightful read that balances humor and heartfelt moments perfectly. I can’t wait to see where Komi’s journey takes her next! If you love slice-of-life manga with relatable characters and a touch of comedy, this volume is a must-read!
