This fountain pen is a tremendous value for the price you can get it at!When I purchased the pen, I was skeptical at how good a pen purchased for so little could function. However, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a pen that more than exceeded my expectations. The rosewood shell makes for a beautiful writing utensil while the gold fountain and tip add to the elegance. I was even more surprised by the accompanying rosewood case that the pen arrived in. How fantastic of a company to allow the packaging of the product to market the product!In addition to the beauty, I was also pleasantly surprised at how smooth the pen wrote. The flow of ink was very even and allowed me to write with ease. The pen width compliments my hand quite well and does not slide around when I write. The size also fits my hand so well that I am sure I could write numerous documents without my hand beginning to ache.This pen is well worth the small price paid. The elegance and functionality will give you a pen that offers sophistication with simple functionality. I am completely satisfied with my purchase of this pen.

It's very comfortable as it sits between my fingers; it's writing comes out to be precise and sophisticated as it goes smoothly across my writing paraphernalia. The results are amazing. No leaks, skips, and smudges. A modern yet timeless pen to add to my business and calligraphy essentials! The wooden case adds a luxurious feel. Also, it's not as heavy as I expected it to be - it's lightweight. To add, it's easy to refill. Whenever I use it, I am always complimented on how beautiful it is and it never happened to me before while using my previous pens. This type of pen is usually hard-to-use but I am quite enjoying myself with it. It really is a staple to my needs - business or pleasure. Despite its sturdy material and intricate parts, it's reasonably priced. Overall, a great value for money! I like it so much. I can confidently and honestly say that I stand by this product and I do think I'll stick by it. Maybe I'll make a collection with its array of colour options. I couldn't recommend this product enough.

I recently purchased a Faber-Castell fountain pen while I was in Germany on vacation. I was super excited, I have wanted to write with a fountain pen. When I started using it, I FELL IN LOVE! So smooth, great grip and no skips. So impressed, I started searching for other fountain pens I could fall in love with.This pen, however, is NOT it! From the first few letters it was skipping like crazy. I had the converter in, I thought maybe that was the issue. Nope, still skips with a cartridge. Speaking of the converter, it sure runs out of ink VERY QUICKLY!!! One ink fill for the converter, 5 pages written, thats it! Not paying this kind of money to refill every 5 pages.The size of the barrel was too small as well. I like a bit thiker barrel, which allows for better control. I could probably deal with the barrel size, IF it did not skip.I will be returning the 2 pens that are not Faber-Castell and buy 2 that are.Review edit: I have given this pen some more time, and I guess that’s what it needed. In the last week or so, about a dozen pages of writing, the skipping has come to an almost halt. Every now and then, mostly I think with the angle I am writing at, does it skip a stroke. Other than that, really enjoying it. I never understood a “break in” period for a pen was needed until a read another review. Looks like that was the trick it needed. A beautiful pen that with a bit of work, will be a great addition to the office or a gift.

The pen arrived in pristine condition, and I was shocked when I took it out of the packaging. I purchased the Rosewood set, and the color was rich. This doesn’t come with an ink insert, which is both a positive and a negative. This meant I was able to choose the ink I wanted to use. The metal tip was strong and unbending, and I was able to write for as long as I wanted with whatever pressure I wanted to use. I have found the pen especially useful for taking notes in classes – it allows me to write in a flowing script without having to stop and shake it and the nice case that it comes with means this pen is never at risk for being lost in the contents of my bag. Another thing I liked about this pen was that it was easy to grip. It is the perfect size. I’ve appreciated using it to sign my name on checks and at the end of letters, too. It is a very professional looking pen that lives up to its beautiful image. Useful and good-looking. This pen has a very detailed body, the grooves in the wood are visible and there is lovely carving on the metal nib of the pen as well. I highly recommend giving this a try.

First of all, I got the product a lot faster than expected. I was hoping it would arrive by Christmas and it arrived long before that. I was able to write up Christmas cards with it. They came out great!The tip is brass and made in Germany. It didn’t make a mess at all like the pens I have used before. It wrote smoothly and didn’t drip all over my cards. The rest of the pen was a very pretty rosewood. It did not splinter at all and was very comfortable to hold. My hand didn’t ache at all. I was honestly surprised to notice that. It even came in its own rosewood box to store it in. Great to put on a desk. Or you could use the pen clip and take it with you. I was happy to see it had a pen clip. Most similar ink pens I’ve had didn’t have a clip so it was not convenient to take with me. I’m glad they included it. Make sure to order ink as well as it doesn’t come with the pen. I had some of my own that worked perfectly fine. Putting the ink in was a little confusing at first, but once you figure it out, it’s perfectly fine.I think it’s a great pen for crafts, maybe a professional office setting, even school. I think it’d be a great gift idea too. When you have a hard time deciding what to get the man if your life, just get this. I’m sure he’ll love it. At least I do.
