Very useful
As the Mac doesn't have so many slots, this adapter helps a lot. I use it for my MAC pro and very happy with it. The product is good.

good quality and does the job, i used it for transferring my work stuff to my laptop since not everyone is using USB C yet so you'll need this with your normal USB

I bought this adapter for my now not so new MacBook Pro.I've had a few USB adapters in the past but I decided I needed one with both Thunderbolt connectors and an SD card so I could more easily transfer my photos to my different storage devices. When I saw that this was quite expensive, I hesitated, but after seeing that the device was Amazon's choice I thought ho-hum and purchased the device.

Handy bit if kit
Works straight out of the box on both Windows 10 PC and my MacBook. Transfer speeds very fast and colour of the metal matches the MacBook beautifully. Really handy for those whose machines have only a single USB-C socket, like mine. Total perfection would have been the inclusion of a gigabit Ethernet port but that would have made it thicker. One note, if you plug a USB-C power adapter in while it is already connected to the computer, it is totally non-disruptive but if you then unplug the power source it temporarily disconnects and reconnects all attached devices. Provided you know in advance it’s still a cracking device.

Small weightless portable wonder
Works perfectly and looks really good when connected to the MacBook. Doesn't look out of place like some on the other products I was looking at.Been looking for a single hub to replace all the dongles for my MacBook Pro. This is great. Nice aluminium that matches well. Got my SD card slot back. Everything you need. Perfect.

A brilliant piece of kit, that easily allows me to replace the USB ports that Apple so thoughtfully removed. Many of us still use pieces of technology that connect to our computers via USB or (or SD card) and having lost them on recent Apple computers was highly inconvenient.
