I really like the Dooli litter genie hack. I have 7 cats and was spending a fortune on refill cartridges. I'm very happy with this product. However, I do feel the bags need to be a few inches longer, but that is easily solved by using the Dooli Diaper bag refills. They are about 3 inches longer and work perfectly!

The system works great when it's a new bag. But once the bag gets full, it creates too much downward pull and gets dislodged from the top when you let the 'trap door' close. So you either have to throw it away before it's close to full, or keep having to re-tuck the top of the bag into the securing adapter. Either way, it's annoying. If they made the bags 2-3 inches longer it'd solve the problem. I was actually excited to run out of Dooli bags so I could order the standard bag cartridge again.

Saving money and time using this adapter. I started out using the Dooli Litter bags, but have since switched to the Dooli Diaper bag refills since they are 5 inches longer and hold more waste. Plus they go to the bottom of the regular Litter Genie and less chance of bag pulling out of adapter.

This is my second adapter, and the package deal with the bags makes it even sweeter. I can't speak for the long term durability issues that some people have mentioned, as I've only had the first one for about 3 months, but these adapters and bags have made my life much easier, and saved me money as well. If you're tired of buying expensive replacement cartridges and wasting bag material tying knots, this is the way to go.

I was already on the hunt for something that would work in place of the Pet Genie bag refills before they were out of stock everywhere I looked. I came across Dooli and SO glad I did. Not only is it exactly what I was looking for but found out how awesome the company is too. My order of two Dooli refill bag rolls and the compatible adapter arrived, yet the adapter was missing in the box. I contacted the company through amazon and on their site and within minutes received a message that the adapter will be ordered and shipped to me asap. The next day I received a message that it was ordered and on its way...no charge. The adapter fits perfectly and I like it much better that I don't have to tie off the ends like with pet genie. Dooli saves me money and is much easier to refill and use. Thank you Dooli for allowing me to keep using the pet genie and for providing a very well made product!!

Well made, but the bags need to be about 4 to 6 inches longer. As the bag fills up, it tends to pull out of the adapter, then you have to tug and pull to get the bag clamped back in. Just not worth the hassle.

The adapter is a great idea (I’ve only used it with the Dooli’s bags), but I don’t care for the bags. They are unnecessarily thick which means more plastic in landfills. They often slip out of the holder. To prevent slipping I need to fill them less full than Litter Genie bags. Therefore I’m not saving money on bags.Once I try the adapter with regular shopping bags or the compostable bags that I also use for kitty litter, I’ll update my review.

Great Value and Controls Odor. I use these in my Dog Genie where I dispose of my dog’s Poop bags after I pick up. I have an 84 lb GSD who poops 2-3 times a day. 1 Dooli bag holds a weeks worth of used Doggy bags. These even control odor in the Texas Heat (My dog genie in kept outside). No flys, no horrible smell. I have taken the bag out of the Dog Genie, tied it off and put it in my kitchen trash for me to take to the dumpster in my building. Well, even left overnight in my kitchen trash, there is no smell from the weeks worth of Dog Poop in the trash. This 2 pack of bags lasted me 1 Year.
