Fair balance of price and operation.
This projector is a good buy for its affordable price. The image does have a low resolution, making small text difficult to read but its brightness and affordability make up for its clarity. I wouldn't recommend this for hi definition gaming but it was good enough for me to beat Super Mario World for the SNES on it just fine. The on-board controls are a nice addition in case you lose the remote. There are some improvements that could help this device: The power cord is so short that it doesn't reach the floor from chest height off my tripod stand. I'm using an extension cord for it to reach the wall but I do have future concerns about wear on the female end of the projector's input jack due to the weight of the power supply. The power supply also seems to get very hot in a short period of time during normal operation. If you are willing to make the sacrifice of resolution for a large screen size then this projector works well. There are plenty of better resolution projectors, but not many in this price range.

So far so good. I've tested it with a Wii connected via ...
Really Nice and Cheap Projector for on the go! The projector is easy to travel with. It's nice that the projector can be power with a power bank. You can hook up anything with a HDMI input. It is perfect for what I need, I use this for watching movies and it works amazingly well! It provides many slots, Micro USB, HDMI, VGA, AV-In, Standard USB, and SD. With the Standard USB you can simply plug in a Hard Drive or Flash Drive and stream movies directly off them. It goes for the same for the SD Card Slot. On the top of the projector you will find multiple buttons to control the projector. All the buttons on the projector can be found on the remote included but if you don't use the remote you can simply just use the buttons on top of the projector. No need to connect speakers to the projector, it has speakers built right into the projector. They can be really loud and they are perfect for movies and stuff but if you looking to listen to music or something the speakers are not good for that. This is a LED light projector and will last 20,000+ Hours. This is a really nice projector overall. When watching movies or playing games and it is blurry to adjust the quality of the image all you need to do is turn the lens like on any other projector. I found out that this projector does provide a nice and clear picture when adjusted perfectly. If you are looking for a nice projector and a cheap one, I recommend this one.

Three Stars
Great for the price but not functional if you need to use for professional presentation! Received quickly! Okay so I Just set up the projector. It is not as clear as I was hoping and definitely not as bright as it needs to be. I had every light out in the room and still it was a strain. I was trying to save money as I launch my new business. Also if you need a VGA Cable etc. it does not come with these attachments. Luckily I have been doing presentations for awhile and had one. The adjustment bar under the bottom is also minimum. I think I will be sending this back and trying another brand. In doing a little more homework if you are doing a presentation with any lighting or low light you will need a projector with at least 1000 lumens.

Watching HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) movies
So far the Taotaole Multi-Media 150 Lumens Portable Projector is a great little projector. Used it for outdoor movie viewing. No, it's not going to project the clarity you might expect from say your laptop screen but, for the price, it allows for fun "group" movie viewing on a budget. I have learned however, (I'm totally new to all this), that you will NOT be able to watch movies you have downloaded from itunes using your apple devices. Itunes movies are encrypted with a signal (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection or HDCP) to prevent copying, and every piece of of equipment in the signal chain must support HDCP for it to work. I have purchased and tried the authorized Apple HDMI and VGA adapters in an attempt to show the movies from my ipad but, since neither of those adapters worked, I can only conclude that this projector does not support HDCP. (Someone prove me wrong please!) The solution I found that works for us?---Play the movie from your laptop or PC. Although that's not a strike against this projector, it's just something you might want to be aware of. That said, for the price of this little projector, it added some fun to our outdoor summer evenings. I was also projecting from a short distance (maybe 6 feet) so the pic was fairly crisp but of course on the smaller side. Units a little "squirrely" but, you get what you pay for. After the novelty wears off, and if we still want to continue outdoor movie viewing, we may opt for a better quality projector but for now, I think it's a great "intro" into projector use.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT!
GARBAGE!!!! DO NOT BUY! Had this terrible projector for two days before it completely stopped working! It literally wouldn't turn on! No troubleshooting instructions in the manual that is clearly translated, and poorly may I add, from Mandarin Chinese or some other Asian language. I would give this zero stars if I could but Amazon doesn't allow it... Just invest in something more quality and don't even waste time on this cheap piece of junk!

Tried twice, failed twice
I ordered one of these and paired it with a nice bu-ray DVD and a high speed HDMI cable, as recommended. The image was fine, surprisingly sharp (the reason it got two stars). There was no sound, however, and no matter what setting I tried it remained silent. I tested a variety of different earphones and external speakers, nothing. The DVD and cable were tested on another TV and worked perfectly. So I returned it and ordered anther one, giving the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt with the first one, but both failed and were returned. I suppose it would be good for slide presentations or powerpoint, but that isn't what I bought it for, and the issue of the lack of sound isn't addressed anywhere. (yes, I tried the mute button on the remote). Too bad, I liked the size and image and the price was right. Just.... no sound.

Honestly, im pleased with the product being my starter projector!
I have had this projector for about months and i must say the product is well worth its price. Primarily I wanted to buy a 42' samsung tv but the price was too much for me at the time so I stared looking into projectors. I stumbled upon this one in particular due to it's price, I too was skeptical at first even when I was connecting it to my playstation 3. I was astonished at the picture quality but the sound was rather mediocre. So me being the awesome person that i am i hooked up my Sony stereo to the projector and BAM! HD definiton sound :O. Im always playing video games though its hard to see distant objects and read small fonts such as GTA 5 online screen I really enjoy the experience. When my friends come over they always give me compliments and insist selling it to them. This is a great starting projector at a low cost. So Buy P.S.- only con that im dealing with is buildup on of lint and other particles on the internal lens so its is noticeable on the picture.

My first mighty mini HDMI compatable projector.
Tiny but gets the job done. I always wanted a projector so I got this affordable one (wasn't in the thousands like the other ones I saw. As it turns out, I had to mess with the wire on the audio/visual plug-in for it to work on my old Nintendo Wii (I was testing it), but it worked. It also has a small speaker on it that was clear enough to hear, but of course, not that great when you crank it up. Not a problem because you'll want to use your own speakers for that anyway. Also, there are places to plug in your HDMI (up to 1080P) and computer/lap top. When I used it it was on my wall and through A/V so the picture quality wasn't that great, but it should work pretty good with a better surface and more space than my bedroom could offer. I doubt it could be projected that large because it is so tiny, but that won't stop me from trying later on. Anyway, it works, and I don't know how long, but that I will also test out in time. The focus is really easy to manipulate and the remote is pretty straightforward, just not the instructions, since it is China made: You'll need to deal with instructions in broken English in some places. Other than that, a great first experience with my first projector. Hope it will last so I can play movies and video games to entertain the family.
