Good value for money.
For the price I paid this seems to be quite well made, although there are some plastic parts these are of fairly robust quality and i would expect them to last. The sanding disk is supposed to have stick on abrasive pads but I decided to replace them with the more common Velcro hook and eye type, the stick on receiver plate cost me £6 from a well known auction site. I trued up the aluminium plate on my metal lathe, it was only a bit out of true, but as I have the facility I thought I'd make it a bit better. The motor seems to be powerful enough and it all works very well.

Lacking any guts !!
Not impressed. Slightest pressure and it stops. Not a machine with any guts. Ok for balsa wood !

Dangerous
Like so many people at the moment we’re all counting the pennies especially heading towards winter, so taking on diy jobs makes sense. However, I went against my better judgement and thought buying a cheaper bench sander over a branded belt sander would be a good idea. The build quality is shoddy at best, screws falling out of the extractor coverings leading me to just remove them. But the real shock was just 30 mins in the motor started smoking giving off that familiar acrid burning smell when electrics are about to fail. Luckily I was outside connected to a mains isolator box but it still managed to blow all the electrics downstairs. Plz don’t take the risk with this product even for light hobby work this thing is absolutely a waste of your money, buy a decent belt sander and make a jig like I’m going to have to do.
