Frankly, I'm kind of amazed that you get everything you need for such a great price. I bought this set to create training videos, but as soon as I got it, a friend of mine told me she was running for public office. She said she wanted to shoot a video of her standing in front of city hall, and asked me for help. Rather than set up a bunch of equipment in front of city hall and deal with ambient traffic noise, passers-by, etc, I decided to go the green screen route. I first went to city hall and recorded ten minutes of live video. That gave me the light angles I needed to match. Then set up the lights in the studio to match the light angles / brightness, etc., and videotaped her with the green screen. With city hall as the background of her video, it looked like she was standing live in front of city hall. We even used the ambient background noise to make it feel like it was shot live.LIKES:+ Everything you need. I would recommend this for studio use where you can set it up and leave it. If you'll be moving your equipment a lot from place to place, perhaps consider something sturdier -- unless you are extra cautious with set up / tear down.- The stands that hold up the green screen do not get tall enough for an adult to stand in front of. The height is fine if you're shooting kids or if you're sitting down, but if you want to stand in front of it to make a video or do a standing photo shoot, you'll need to find a way to extend the height. I went to Lowe's and bought a length of sturdy 1/2" PVC, cut it to the length I needed to get the height I wanted, then drilled holes in the ends so the crossbar could still be secured. That did the trick. Cost was less than $2.- You will probably want sandbags to hold your lights in place. I'm using this in a home studio and not taking the equipment from place-to-place, so I didn't need anything super durable or professional looking. I made a few sandbags by putting 6 - 7 lbs of sand in plastic shopping bags, tying them shut, then double/triple bagging them. Because they are sand, they form fit to the light stand base brackets, and the light stands stay firmly in place. That was an easy, cheap fix, but anything with a bit of weight will probably work for you.Like I said, I'm not a professional photographer. I simply want to shoot training videos in my home studio, drop in the background of my choosing, then send them on to clients. For my purposes, this set has everything I needed (except the sandbags), and the value-to-price ratio is awesome. Definitely recommended.

FIrst, I want to say that I had great customer service. I had a problem with the horizontal bars fitting together. They didn't. I wrote to the company and heard back from them within 24 hours. After clarifying the problem and sending photos they sent me a new set of horizontal bars (that hold up the green screen) and new stands. I received the replacement parts within 5 days with no additional charge.I like the whole set up. It is lightweight. I can move it around and set it up easily on my own. It has made my online meetings better. Or makes me feel better because the lighting is improved so I am less self conscious and it just looks more professional in general. I can also set up in any room and not worry about the available light or what is in the background.There are many parts. Stands, light bulbs, umbrella reflectors, backdrops, clips, more stands - but it comes with carrying cases if you need to pack it away or move it.I saw some mention that the drops easily crease or wrinkle. It doesn't appear to be a problem when using the green screen. If you use the white or black for photography, it might pose more of a problem.I don't know how long it will last but for the price I think it is worth it.

It is cheap, and the lights and equipment are of good quality to me. The lights are very bright, and good. The only thing that bummed me a bit much was the bag that comes with the equipment. It is obvious it was NOT brand new, and was used. All that aside, this is as much bang for your buck you'll ever get. The mats are also of a bit of low quality, but take care of them and you won't have to regret anything. When I say low quality I mean, you can damage them fairly easily if not cared for properly. I was able to use my green screen for streaming purposes, and it was amazing right off the bat. I can't recommend this enough for a first buy beginners starter pack. i was a bit skeptical at first, but trust me, this gets the job done.

I can’t believe that such an inexpensive set is so great and has made such a difference with my photos! I purchased as amateur with a Canon DSLR hoping to save some money on photos when our baby arrives. The soft boxes, white background with the stand, and white umbrella are the equipment I’ve used so far. Everything came as expected, all undamaged, and may not be top of the line quality, but they work great! The background stand won’t remain perfectly stable if you move the sheet around too much, but it works perfectly for my purposes. You’ll also have to steam or iron out wrinkles from the background sheets, but I expected that. Also noteworthy, if you intend to have to store the pieces away, keep the boxes for the light bulbs. You cannot collapse the soft boxes with the bulbs left inside. However, the carrying cases it comes with are fantastic to store everything away in a nice compact bag.I guess I don’t have the option to show you comparison photos, but trust me, the extra lighting makes a FANTASTIC difference! If you have a small business and need to photograph your for-sale items or are trying to branch into posed photography, this set would be fantastic!!
