Reliable and Seamless Expansion for SQ Series Mixers
We used the Allen & Heath DX168 for a large event, and it performed exactly how you’d hope—plug it in, set your routing, and it just works. We paired it with the SQ5 and placed the DX168 behind the stage, connected via a single Ethernet cable. Once the routing was set properly on the mixer (lots of great YouTube tutorials out there for that), we had zero issues throughout the event. Build quality feels solid, and it really simplifies long cable runs. If your setup calls for a remote stage box solution, this is a great option. Would absolutely recommend—just make sure you get the routing right.
