Tent Base
We used this as the base layer for our 6-person Coleman tent in Vermont. The weather took an unexpected dive too! This tarp kept the moisture out of the base of our tent. When we wrapped up the camping trip and went to fold the tent....you could see all the moisture it repelled. NONE of the moisture made it's way through the tarp or into the base of the tent. Well worth the buy!!!!Temps dropped to 30degrees and expected rain.

Not 10’x12’
It came on time, and seems to be of reasonable quality, time will tell.2 issues:It is NOT, however, 10x12. Its actual dimensions are 9’6”x11’4”. If you need, like I did, an ACTUAL 10’x12’ tarp then check out others. It came without 2 grommets (not even a hole) along one side, of course in the exact spot I really needed grommet/holes.I’ll be contacting the seller to make them aware, but buyer beware.

If You Can Call A Tarp Attractive, This Is It
Nice tarp! I use these to cover my log racks of firewood, plus extra ones I keep in their package behind my piano and my harpsichord in case of bad weather causing roof leaks over the instruments. But the ones over the firewood are outside, though under an awning. I have gone through the Lowes and Jerrys and TrueValue hardware stores in my town, and the heavy duty ones like this are really ugly colors--brown, green, blue. Yuck. This silver and black is very nice.

Not last long
I bough it for a temporary awning while I am working on my RV conversion. I attached one long edge to my van's roof rail on 4 spots and then used 2 poles and rope to hold another 2 corners to the ground. I had to disassemble it every setup to free the drive way and avoid wind damage in the evening. Is that a heavy duty usage? I don't think so, but it was broken and tore only after 5-6 weeks?! Also, another issue is the poor design or workmanship of the product. All 4 edges are simple one fold and glued on without any reinforcement, so that the edges' are elastic and loose under just a little stretch force. Not happy for the performance.

Great for a pool cover.
I am using this as a cover for my 9' x 7' above ground pool. the 10' x 12' is the perfect size. I like that it is black on one side to attract heat and silver on the other side. It seems very durable and is less expensive than a pool cover "tarp".

Will have multi uses
We put this under our tent and we had a torrential downpour during t hth e trip - everything on t hff e floor remained dry.We are impressed with the thickness and stitching. This tarp will last a long time.

Not a heavy duty tarp, if that is what you need
This is not a 10 mil tarp, it's cheap and thin like a harbor freight tarp. Ripped on me first day of use. I put it in my truck bed and get mulch then attach ropes to it to pull it out onto a larger tarp on the ground.Have another 10 mil tarp from Walmart that costs more, it's survived many times doing this, it's just rather large. This one ripped first go and you can tell the material is much thinner.Probably fine for some situations, but not as a heavy duty tarp.
