This is a quite practical guide. There is a relative shortage of mathematics and the design process is explained rather than developed as per an engineering textbook. This makes it very readable. For engineering students, this is a quite acceptable introduction. For modelers of advanced aircraft, it will be interesting. There is description of models where engine development also took place. Kurt and "The Modellers World" also produce his book on Gas Turbine engines, which has more mathematics and graphs etc. However well worth the read and the price. There are few competitor books. Most are more complex and more engineering based. However, this is a good introduction even if thin and expensive on a cost per page basis! Review: Good - This was for my husband and he loves it so it must be good!

Finally in English. It is harder to read in German! Design and construction information for building a particular engine. This is a quite practical guide. Excellent book on an obscure subject

I wasn't sure what to expect since the price was so good. Turns out it's a genuine original in new condition. Shipping took only a week. 10/10 would buy from these folks any time.
