I bought these to add to my collection of La Rochere glasses. The flutes hold only a small amount of sparkling drink. I love the look and the heavier weight is great. Hard to break.

Over the years, I've come to love La Rochere glassware. While other wine glasses break, La Rochere glasses are thick and can survive a lot of accidental slips and even drops. At the same time, though, La Rochere glasses are attractive and feel great in the hand. I've always found champagne flutes to be tippy, and with stemless flutes your fingers tend to warm up the bubbly. These flutes are a great solution. They have only the tiniest of stems, so they're not tippy, and the thickness of the glass means heat from the hand doesn't transfer so quickly. They do great in the dishwasher too.

Very sturdy - I use for Champagne or sparkling-- informals, picnics, etc. -- they are paired with a great -- probably true-- story about Napoleon - sez the maker -- these glasses designed for his use during his military campaigns-- note the "bee" symbol -- an Emperor's "bee". Of course for Champagne purists today - one wants a large bowl on a stem -- tulip shape is the current trend --to smell & swirl -- a Riedel, Zalto or similar glassware, all specifically designed for sparkling. The flutes? Alas now vintage in all senses of the word. The coupes? Donate em to the Dean Martin Vegas Museum -- good soldiers but now very retired.

The pitcher is small but very nice. I really enjoy the bees on the pitcher and glasses I purchased. The glass is very thick, so I think this pitcher will last a very long time.

These are so cute. We really enjoy using them for coffee. I got them for cold cucumber soup and they're fantastic for that too.

I bought the 16 oz glasses and the pitcher, thinking I had a great set. The pitcher is very small and will only fill two of the glasses. I considered returning the pitcher, but it's so darn cute! I'll be adding a set of 6 oz juice glasses soon.

I'm a huge fan of La Rochere glassware. I have several sets from the Napoleon Bees design, as well as absinthe glasses, all of which I'm extremely happy with. They are sturdy and substantial in the hand, but still elegant enough to serve quality drinks. They bring a charm from a bygone time to the table, and are quirky and eclectic. The quality and craftsmanship of these products is consistently outstanding. Although these champagne flutes, and the wine glasses, high-ball glasses, and old-fashioned glasses I have are covered in sweetly-detailed little bees, they are far from precious or delicate, and last for many years. These champagne flutes are sturdy enough to withstand daily use if desired. I highly recommend La Rochere products.

We don't drink it often but I wanted some glasses to toast my Dad at his Celebration of Life and these were perfect. They are also easy to clean as they aren't too big, which means you can get the orange juice pulp out if you are a Mimosa fan.

The headline says it all. I have quite a few La Rochere Bee items and love them all. These are no exception.
