Way better for long-term onion storage than panty hose!
I bought 25 lbs of Vidalia onions and Richards Homewares Silver Epoxy Over the Door Close Valet with Hanging Bar. I put the hanging bar over the laundry room door. I found these storage bags will hold 5 jumbo Vidalias each with a small piece of paper towel in between to absorb any moisture. For 25 lbs you need 8 bags. I found they are short enough that you can get into your washer without banging your head. The bags with the onions are light enough that you can easily get them up on the bar. Since I only had these 5 bags I used the standard panty hose method for the rest. What a difference. The panty hose method was waaaay too heavy and awkward compared to these bags. I'll be ordering more of these in the future and never go back to panty hose again.

Excellent bags that look great and stay closed until you open it.
I had hoped they were going to be a bit larger ,but that is my fault,as they have the size in there product information After my " shock over size". I have been really happy with them.I use them for storage of our plastic bags.The best thing was a very smart idea my 15 yr.old daughter came up with to utilize them. She is ordering more ! She organized her many small-scale beanie babies and came up with more ideas to get her dresser cleaner and I used one for my onions. My goal was to secure them in the kitchen and put our potatoes,and other foods that we need to have in a storage bag,with ventilation. I have to get larger bags and I will be happy. The bags are well MADE and look really nice. The Velcro closure is works great !

They work perfectly for storing onions and have easy access for when I want to use them throughout the winter! Plus the prices is so good you have to at least try them!! Great item for the price!!
