Don't hesitate to buy
This was a last minute text suggestion for class. Amazon said I would have it in 2 business days. I ordered at 3:PM on a Sunday and it was delivered early Monday morning- less than 20 hours later! I was cringing when I ordered it because it's an expensive book and I am to the point where I am tired of buying textbooks, especially those that I don't like, however, I am very happy with this purchase! The ebook is included with the hardback so I can use it in practice and I like having a paper version for home (the hardback is chunky and heavy so I would never lug it anywhere). The content appears to be great. There is a DDx section and this is something I have been looking for in an app or book and good ones are hard to find! The writing is to the point, and I trust Ferri's reliability.

Massive Textbook
This has an incredible amount of information. It is a heavy textbook. The code in the book allows you to look up the electronic textbook that has additional topics not covered in the book. It was a good buy. The only bad comment that I have is that the inside of the book smells. The odor is not present when the textbook is closed. Ink used??? Paper used??? I will never know.

All PCP should have this
A great reference that he used at work all the time. I love the additional digital copy that you can have on your smart phone. very detailed and provides a lot of diagnoses as well as differentials that you can utilize to figure out what is actually going wrong with your patient.

a nice quick reference
+++context is well-done. seems it to come with an online version (i haven't got to try that one). overall, is a nice concise reference(a quick one)._very small fonts, black and white book that makes it difficult to read.

It’s okay
This book came new, it’s an okay book. It seems like a good buy when you read the cover but I have not really found a use for it.

Time and Time Again, the Index LIES.
Time and Time Again, the Index LIES. I am using this book for my DNP-FNP courses as we speak. I often refer to the index to find page numbers for various diseases or conditions. More times than not, the index refers me to a page that has NO information about that topic, but would otherwise be in correct alphabetical order. I'm not simply missing something referenced in a table, etc. The information is simply missing. Perhaps I received a misprint. The fact that the referenced page numbers are so close to being alphabetically correct make me lean towards the idea that it is a misprint.

Great Resource
This book is a great resource for RNs, NPs, PAs, MDs, and DOs. This book is very well organized and easy to follow. The price is very reasonable for such a valuable reference!
