Eel Skin Flip up Mens Wallet-Hot selling #E316

I've been using eelskin wallets just like this for decades. Each wallet I have had lasts for YEARS. But this wallet is wearing out after just one month of use. I'm not sure this is even eelskin. I think it is a fake. Inside the tag reads "Genuine Eelskin On Handmade, Made in Korea." This is nothing like the real eeslkin wallets I have bought before. It looks the same, with the same pocket arrangement, but it is nowhere near as tough as a real eelskin wallet. I wasted my money on this fake.

To be fair, I have not had this wallet for long enough to really break it in and know how it will hold up over time. So far (~a month) it's been great and I have high hopes based on other reviews. What I can say is it holds all my stuff - I like the pockets and the window that's somewhat secure in that to expose that you have to flip it up. Other wallets I've had the windowed pocket is right there once you open the wallet for anyone to see. As with most wallets I'd like more pockets, but I knew what I was getting into when I ordered this to replace the leather one I was using. The eelskin is a bit smoother and seems like it will be more durable than the leather which I do like, but as with everything it's how it works for you. I have an RFID card for access at work that I keep and I can use the card without having to take it out and expose it which I also like. The value for the money on this wallet is pretty decent. You can spend a LOT more and get a lot less.

I selected this style of wallet, with the flip up license holder and credit card slots on both sides because it is the type I prefer. This style of wallet is available from many vendors, but what sets this apart is that it is made from eel skin. This is the most durable wallet I have ever had. It keeps it shape. It looks good even after a couple of years. Since it keeps its shape, the seams are under less stress and stay intact. I did manage to get mine soaking wet and thought I would have to get rid of it, so I ordered a replacement, but, after the original dried out, it was as good as new - no stiffness or cracking like I would have had with a regular leather wallet. So the replacement is waiting until some day when the original finally gives out.

Product didn’t look like the photo at all, the color is off and the Eel skin doesn’t look like the actual eel skin wallet purchase in Korea, the spots were far too small to fit cards or ID. hesitate to purchase from this company their customer service is awful. I’ve been trying to return a product for over a month and they will not refund me

Been buying this same wallet for the past 35 years. Because of the window flap, this configuration is very secure for credits cards. Typically these wallets last me around 5-7 years; at that point they are still in working order, but have started to look a little shabby at the folds. Very robust design and production.

I've been using the wallet for about 2 weeks now and it appears to be a well made quality wallet.It has plenty of room for all my cards and id. The eel skin is soft, durable, and has a smooth feel to it.I play a lot of sports and was dismayed when I took it out of my sweaty gym shorts and the wallet was wrinkled onone side. I just set it on the counter and it dried out in a couple of hours and looks like new.

I LOVE this Wallet!. Have had a few before as gifts but this is my first purchase. Nice looking and functional, and the price is easy on the "wallet"lol.

Exterior developed pink spots and dull from the get go . Every other eel skin product I ever bought had an extremely shined exterior.
